Easy checkin and free cookies. Parking isn’t free unless you are an IHG member, so make sure to join before arriving. Room was fine. Comfy beds and pillows. Shower good if not hugely hot. I think the hotel is used by a lot of business people as it gets noisy from 6AM onwards as people slam doors. So don't expect a quiet lie in. Breakfast is actually very good, although if you arrive before 8:30AM you may struggle to get a table.

Hotel is in a great location and I have stayed here before, but on this occasion the condition and cleanliness was poor, dust on the the room numbers, thick cobwebs on signs in the corridor, the timescale build up in the baths makes it look like they are only cleaning the main bits regularly. Marks on the bedsheets (clean but marked) For the price I would expect better

Room was nice and bed was comfy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. Teas and coffee included. Only downside we had to pay £10 for parking which we didn’t expect.

As expected

The hotel room was spacious, you could tell it was slightly aged, but it was clean. Staff on reception were excellent as were those serving in the bar and restaurant. I used the gym, the facilities were good, albeit a little tired. There was a wedding at the hotel on the 2nd night we stayed, any hotel room in the corridor of the reception hall (where we stayed) feels like part of the party. The music was so loud. It does get turned off at 12am, but it's intrusive. The hotel manager and reception staff were excellent, unfortunately there weren't any other rooms to move to, but I can't fault their customer service. Overall this is a decent little hotel on the edge of Cambridge, easily accessible.
