Ideally situated to visit Umbrian countryside including Tuscany , Florence is 2 hours away by car.From the house you have two train stations which are 20 minutes drive. You can go to Rome within a hour . Beautiful hilltop towns , spoletto, Todi,Orivietto,Assisi and Perugia are all within 40 min to 1 1/2 hours . Narni the lovely medieval town is 20 minutes.
Local restaurants and eating places are superb. You can buy the best Pasta from the local village and all food shops including the local mini supermarket are 10 minute drive away.
