It was my birthday we got this sweet with the mineral water bathtub I got the mud bath that was amazing only thing I didn't like I should have extended my stay my stay was too short the staff was amazing quiet facility the swimming pool was awesome as a content creator I was able to record several scenes and also I will be putting up a vlog I'll be back until next time

Loved the mineral water swimming pool and two mineral water hot tubs (two different temperatures)! Comfortable room, great bed. My husband enjoyed his massage. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator and Golden Haven is easy walking distance to an upscale grocery store (with a deli) and lots of amazing restaurants. They loan out bikes too. Would definitely return!

What a find! This place is truly a haven. Friendly inviting desk person upon my arrival. A lovely upgrade to a room with a soaking tub and fireplace. Wonderful King size bed. And the mineral water! If you like it hot...140-150 degrees! Fabulous. Everywhere, clean and tidy. Thank you Golden Haven, I will be back.

Our final morning, when our quiet soak at 8 a.m. was disrupted by a young child, roughly three years old, screaming, splashing, and running around the pool area. While we completely understand that children are energetic and excited, this behavior was starkly out of place in a resort that prominently displays signage promoting a peaceful and quiet environment. We would not have minded these experiences if we had booked a more family-oriented hotel. However, Golden Haven markets itself as a wellness-focused resort with a tranquil, adult-friendly atmosphere. For the price we paid, we expected that tone to be upheld—and enforced. Sadly, the lack of a consistent and respectful atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy the otherwise lovely setting. Golden Haven has the potential to be a restful retreat, but only if it chooses to uphold the environment it promises.

It’s a small low-key place, nothing fancy but clean, quiet and at-homey. I have stayed at other luxury resorts in the same area but the quality of the spring water at Golden Haven was the best. All of the staff were very friendly and nice as well. I’ll stay at Golden Haven again when I am in Calistoga next time. Highly recommended!
