The house is 10 minutes drive from the beach is beautifully situated at 500m altitude on a slope with a magnificent view. It offers spacious space for 4 people and two cars (own underground car park). The house is located on the sunny south-west side of the island. It has virtually no neighbors and the bedrooms are very quiet. It has a new kitchen and a living room with TV and Wi-Fi, international TV via internet. The WLAN is accessible via amplifiers in the sockets throughout the house.

Magnificent

A beautiful house with all the amenities that you would need for your stay and then some. Magnificent views of the sunset from the terrace. The property manager Johnny went out of his way to help us in any need that we had. We only should have paid more attention to the fact that the garage is for small cars. Our rental (Dacia Duster) fit very tight. A great experience that included three hikes with incredible views.

Lovely stay in Arco de Calheta

Thomas' property was immaculate and had everything you could need for a short break. Jhonny came down to welcome us, and was a kind and gracious host, dropping everything to help us when our water supply suddenly went off. Balcony was great for evening sunbathing, and Arco itself is well positioned for easily getting around the island. All in all, very happy. Only thing missing was a pool, but you can't have everything :D Thanks Thomas and Jhonny for a great stay!

Madeira break

Quiet tidy accomodation. Away from other holiday makers. Jhonny local caretaker friendly and offered help but none was needed. Thomas gave good directions as we arrived in early evening and it was dark but no difficulty finding the villa. Friendly bar just a couple of minutes up the road walking for cold beer and cooked us a pizza despite being after 9pm.

Winter get awat

This is our second stay and we again loved it. The property is centrally located with good access to all parts of the island. Especially for hikers, the house is on the main road up to a vast network of trails including 25 fontes. This road also leads to our favorite restaurant, Requinte do Rochao. We particularly appreciated the heating that Thomas had added as the evening temperatures can be cool in January through February. We stayed from January 14 to March 30. The only complaint is time flew by too quickly. Any need you have is quickly addressed by the property manager, Jhonny, who is delightful.

The comfortable and relaxing Villa Tomito.

The Villa Tomito is a spacious traditional and well furnished house with the bonus of a veranda upon which to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings, birdsong, views of the paragliding and the beautiful sunsets. The house is regularly cleaned and all details attended to by the house manager who lives nearby. The large kitchen is well equipped with all the essential items for cooking and also table and chairs for dining. Staying at the Villa Tomito is a pleasure, the owner is most attentive and has provided Internet, flat screen TV and comfortable lounge. It will be always a memorable time, the restaurants, coffee shops an the local grocery/butchers shop that bakes delicious bread daily.

A beautiful view

My husband and I rented this property from January 13 to March 21. It was a wonderful house with everything we needed and more. We were delighted to find the extra toilet on the ground floor, which we hadn't realized was there. Jhonny, the property manager, welcomed us warmly and provided us with fresh fruit from his garden. So wonderful to eat such fresh and very tasty produce!! The location provides easy access to many of the levada walks as well as decent roads to the north coast. We explored the neighborhood on foot as well as traveled by car to many different areas. The people in the area are warm and welcoming. The local grocery store, about 10 to 15 minute walk downhill, has a wonderful bakery and butcher. We bought most items there with some trips to the Pingo Doce or Continente. You do need a car, and recommend the smallest you are comfortable with driving, makes it much easier to get around on the narrow streets. The views from the balconies are fabulous. They also give you good views of the Paul do Serra above the house. The kitchen was probably one of the best stocked we have rented. Plenty if cookware in good condition and staples already in the cupboards. We used the largest bedroom with the king bed. So for once I didn't have to fight my husband for space! The bed was firm and my husband loved it. The sitting room upstairs had heating and was a good area to relax and enjoy the end of each day. We found a wonderful restaurant up the road above the house, Requinte do Rochao. Would definitely recommend it. The Pizzeria restaurant on ER 222 below the grocery store also provides a good meal. We would definitely recommend this home and Madeira as a wonderful place to vacation and relax.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung. Der Gastgeber hat uns vor der Reise eine sehr nette Einweisung per Mail geschickt. Die Wohnung ist hübsch und praktisch eingerichtete, der Blick von der Terasse sensationell! Alles in der Küche war da, was man brauchte. Vielen Dank für das nette Willkommen in Form eines gedeckten Küchentisches, Blumen und einem Obstkorb! Mein Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam. Die Ferienwohnung war gut ausgestattet. Abends ist ein herrlicher Blick von der Terrasse aus auf den Atlantik zu genießen. In der Nähe können alle notwendigen Besorgungen erledigt werden. Jhonny war am Ankunftstag da, war hilfsbereit und zeigte mir die Wohnung. Bei Fragen war er auch erreichbar.

Madeira an Weihnachten und Silvester

Wir sind 10 Tage in Madeira geblieben und haben wunderschöne Tage auf der Insel und in der "Villa Tomito" verbracht.Das Haus befindet sich in Arco de Calheta, also in ca. 500 Meter Höhe, in einer sehr steilen Straße, was aber für Madeira normal ist. Die Garage ist für kleine und mittlere Autos sehr praktisch.Das Haus hat 2 Ebenen: im Erdgeschoss befindet sich die Küche (sehr gut ausgerüstet) sowie 2 kleine Wohnungen, die zu waren und leer standen, und im 1. Stock 2 ruhige Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer, und ein Wohnzimmer mit Terrasse (wunderschöner Ausblick nach Südwesten). Es ist kein modernes, aber ein bequemes und angenehmes Haus. Wir haben die Heizung sowie das warme Duschen sehr genossen. Wir hatten auch jeden Tag den Besuch einer Katze auf der Außenfensterbank, was unsere Kinder sehr gefreut hat.Jhonny, der Nachbar, der sich um Chek-In und Chek-Out kümmert, ist eine überaus liebe, kommunikative und hilfsbereite Person, der die Insel gut kennt und gerne mit Tipps hilft. Der Vermieter, der in Deuschland wohnt, ist auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Diese Jahreszeit ist in vielen Hinsichten sehr schön, denn die Temperaturen liegen zwischen 15 und 20 Grad, so dass man gut wandern kann, und die Weihnachtsbeleuchtungen und das Feuerwerk in Funchal am 31.12 sind grandios.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Haus war sauber, Küche war komplett eingerichtet mit allem Equipment das man brauch. Es gab ein Willkommenesgeschenk, haben uns sehr darüber gefreut. Sehr nettes Haus

Ein schönes Haus mit einer Garage. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Zwei Badezimmer sind für vier Personen sehr praktisch. Gutes Internet. Wir haben den Blick von der Terrasse auf die Stadt sehr genossen. Man braucht ein Auto, um nach Calheta zu fahren.

Fabelhafter Aufenthalt

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Villa Tomito. Die Kommunikation vorab war reibungslos und unkompliziert. Der Manager Johnny erwartete uns bei der Ankunft & half uns sogar beim Gepäck. Der Küchentisch war toll eingedeckt, der Obstkorb voll & eine Flasche typisch lokaler Weißwein stand im Kühlschrank. Da ich noch ein paar Tage arbeiten musste, hat Johnny mir einen Schreibtisch organisiert inkl. Büromaterialien- das war super, VIELEN DANK! Schöne geräumige Villa, gemütliche Betten & eine schöne Terrasse mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf das Meer. Auch an die Garagen-Einfahrt haben wir uns schnell gewöhnen können. :) Auf jeden Fall ein prima geeigneter Ort zum Entspannen. Am Tag der Abreise waren wir sehr traurig, wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben! Vielen Dank für alles.

Villa Tomito in Loreto, Arco da Calheta

Empfehlenswertes Quartier für motorisierte Individualisten in einem Ort mit guter Infrastruktur. Sehr angenehm ist, dass mit Jhonny ein überaus liebenswerter und hilfsbereiter Ansprechpartner mit Rat und Tat in der Nachbarschaft zur Verfügung steht.

Mooi vakantiehuis, centraal gelegen voor wandelaars,je bent binnen een half uur bij startpunten voor mooie wandelingen. Contact met host was goed, via app, Jhonny was hartelijk en wil alles voor je doen. Huis was schoon en voldoende beddengoed en handdoeken aanwezig. In de keuken voldoende aanwezig. Mooi uitzicht, weg is wel wat druk, maar niet hinderlijk vonden wij.

Schöne Wohnung mit Mängeln

Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Urlaub jedoch war die Wohnung nicht ganz so gut. Wir können die vorherigen Bewetungen leider nicht wirklich teilen. Im Bad und Schlafzimmer gibt es leider Schimmel an Decke und Wand, das Bett mussten wir nochmals neu beziehen weil ein Blutfleck auf dem Bezug war. Im Wohnzimmer lief die Heizung auf voller Stufe, diese konnte nicht abgestellt werden. Der Balkon ist wirklich toll und man hat einen perfekten Blick aufs Meer. Noch zu erwähnen gilt, dass das Haus an einer recht viel befahrenen Straße liegt auf der LKWs, Autos um Roller unterwegs sind, was teilweise leider echt stört wenn man gemütlich auf dem Balkon Frühstücken oder entspannen möchte.

Ein sehr schönes Haus

Ein großzügiges freundliches Haus, viel Platz, gut ausgestattet, mit atemberaubendem Ausblick von der Terasse, reichlich Vorräte vorhanden. Sehr herzlicher Empfang mit schön gedecktem Tisch, Obst usw. die Garage ist zwar speziell, aber wir waren froh dass es sie gab. Das Haus liegt an eine steilen Staße.

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Ausblick

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön hinsichtlich Lage, Ausstattung und herausragendem Ausblick von der Terrasse. Wir waren viel wandern und haben unseren Aufenthalt im Haus bzw. den umlaufenden Sitzmöglichkeiten am Abend sehr genossen. Abenteuerlich waren die Ein- und Ausfahrt mit dem Auto in die Garage, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Vielen Dank für das unkomplizierte Ein- und Auschecken und die angebotene Unterstützung! Sehr zu empfehlen!
