Our host Nagwa was the absolute best. The mosquitoes were horrible. The neighbors were loud everyday, all day and night. The delivery people and the people who worked at the apartment expect to be tipped just for doing their job. The host went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. If we needed extra household supplies she would send them over. When we needed to order food she allowed us to us her account because apparently you need an Egyptian telephone number to be able to order anything. She was available 24/7 for anything we needed. Despite the outside of the building the inside was really nice. It was conveniently located near many shops in walking distance.
