The views say it all

We had an amazing stay in Angorfa - the house was plenty big enough for 7 with done of the comfiest beds we’ve stayed on - loads of kitchen amenities but the winner was the views - sea on one side and rolling hills the other. The house is a great place to explore the peninsula. Would definitely recommend

Winter break

Stayed at angorfa for the weekend with my family to celebrate my 50th birthday and we absolutely loved everything about it. The house and views are stunning. Great communication with our host Dave too. Will definitely be booking again.

Lovely stay

Great place to stay, the property was much bigger than we expected and was a short walk from a quiet beach. David was a great help, giving us advice on local amenities and places to visit, one of the most helpful people I’ve ever dealt with.

Gorgeous views

We were very lucky with the weather, with only 1 day which was a wash out with rain and wind. It was a lovely stay with amazing views. The beds were really comfy.

Excellent property with a fantastic host.

Excellent property in an idyllic location with every amenity you could possibly need! A stones throw from the quiet beach with fantastic views from the house. Absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. David was an excellent host and we'll be sure to visit again.

A beautiful house in a stunning location.

The house was well laid out with ample space for our family and two dogs. The location was stunning with a short walk to the beach. David the house manager stayed in contact with us throughout our stay and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay again.

A fabulous place to stay

We had a lovely stay at the wonderful Angorfa House with friends. An excellent, clean and spacious house for 4 couples, with en-suites for each room and very comfortable beds. Fabulous views, especially from the upstairs living room and balcony. Loved the quiet coastal location and the dog-friendly beach on our doorstep. David of Coastal Holidays was so helpful and thoughtful and a lovely welcome pack too. Great base for exploring the surrounding areas. We would be very happy to return to Angorfa. Thankyou!

A unique house in a beautiful situation

Angorfa is a unique beautifully designed house very close to the sea. The spacious sitting room on the first floor has large windows with wonderful views of the sea and the mountains. We loved the ease of being able to get to the beach and walk along the coast. The house was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated the simplicity of the design and furnishings; it was a peaceful uncluttered space. It was easy to find and simple to check in. When we had a question, David was quickly available to help us. We intend to return next year.

Heavenly Retreat

Angorfa proved to be the perfect location for four friends to meet up. A bedroom and bathroom each was perfect as was the cleanliness of the house. The views are stunning. All appliances and equipment were of the highest order. Coastal holidays were amazingly helpful with local information. Can't wait to return to this peace haven.

A must stay property

We found Angorfa as it was well located to our meeting location and it could comfortably accommodate 4 professionals. it certainly didn't disappoint. It was actually a bit inconvenient to have to go to work so we couldn't enjoy the property and it's surrounds more. We found the property very well appointed and very spacious and all in all exceeded our expectations.

Great for four couples and lovely location

We had a great time at Angorfa. We met up with three other couples who all live in north east Wales. It was really easy and quick to get to, good roads all the way. The property is perfect for 8. Important for us ( as oldies!) was that all four bedrooms were en-suite, which is unusual. There is plenty of space to relax, sit and dine and relax in a great large lounge with sea views. It is a minute or two from the sea. The weather was terrible, of course not the fault of the owner, so we spent more time in the house than we expected.. but it was great. I would recommend this highly

Our stay at Angorfa

Well, what can i say!! What a property and what a family holiday we had at Angorfa. The property itself is very well presented, it was spotlessly clean on arrival, the downstairs kitchen/diner area is very conducive to family time and conversation whilst preparing meals. The kitchen appliance inventory was the best i've seen for self-catering accommodation, great attention to detail here. We were fortunate with the weather so absolutely maximized both the downstairs outdoor eating area and upstairs balcony, that had such incredible views. Great to enjoy 4 rooms all with en-suite which made everyone's stay that little more convenient, the beds were so comfortable too, a big upstairs area with amazing views and space for all the family to enjoy. The outdoor garden area brilliant and very private with the drive gate closed had complete peace of mind with the kids to happily roam & explore. The beach was a 2-minute walk away with everyone having a dip in the warm weather. Can't wait to return..

OMG that view!

A well designed layout making the most of the amazing view! Very comfortable beds and lovely powerful shower with plenty of hot water! Great outside space especially the patio which we enclosed off at back by putting some of the outside chairs across so our dogs could be free, a little gate here would be a great added extra. The balcony was lovely to sit out on on our good weather days! Very short walk of about 2 mins to the beach. Large pebbles at high tide but sand in parts at low tide which our dogs enjoyed. We saw dolphins from the property which of course made my day! Large kitchen but unfortunately this is where a couple of cleanliness issues arose! Dirty oven and grill, crumbs in drawers, old food in freezer dated a month earlier, dirty looking t towels, very well used baking sheets with the coating coming off, saucepans and frying pan very scratched with worry that coating had come off too! Im afraid when youre paying good money, you do expect good things! I took it up with the company whilst staying there and David immediatly ordered new baking sheets! The oven was deep cleaned recently but he will check it along with the pans etc! He took onboard all i said, so hopefully those things will all improve! It would not put me off staying ever, just when you turn up after a long journey and you want to put tea on whilst you unpack, and see all that, it doesnt start you off in the best frame of mind. But everyday the experience got more positive! We did alot of travelling around but our favourite thing was coming back to our holiday home with the fabulous view. It really is very special. Book it!
