This would have been a lovely property if someone had bothered to clean it. The house is not well-kept. We cleaned the bathrooms and the kitchen - the sinks in the master had obviously been used and not cleaned, with beard trimmings and toothpaste residue left behind by a former occupant. The drawers in the bedrooms were littered with mouse droppings, so we didn't unpack but lived out of our suitcases. Fortunately, there was good closet space and we could hang things up. The door lock was a little balky, too - the owner might want to check it. Even so, the setting on the lake is very nice and we enjoyed our lakeside stay in spite of the problems.

Great Little River location

This is our 2nd time staying at this spot. It is in close proximity to some of our family, so we enjoy the closeness it provides. On this stay there was the addition of a small arcade machine, so the kids loved it along with the pool table. In the early evenings there were several deer in the back yard!There are 6 of us in total, so the 3 bedroom/2bath workout perfect for our family. There is a large enough sofa and dinning table to fit us all.
