Lovely lodge right at the entrance of Kruger, the staff were unbelievably welcoming, atmosphere was lovely and service was top notch!

The Orpen's most important and impressive feature is a superb staff of friendly, helpful, professionals always at the ready to ensure a perfect stay. The hotel's common areas are lovely and the tastefully decorated bungalows are nicely sited for privacy. The property is well maintained and spotless throughout and small enough to make it feel personal. The meals, served either in an indoor dining room or in the boma, are skillfully prepared by a first rate chef team that always hit the culinary mark. Another big plus is the lodge is literally about one minute from the KNP Orpen perimeter gate. All in all, we got more than we hoped for with our 3 day stay!
