Our 2nd time here and we had a lovely relaxing stay. We used the leisure club enjoying using all but the gym.

Room was very shabby and dirty along dado rail and upon walking into the bathroom I noticed the floor was very slippy and felt greasy and there was a chemical smell in the room. Despite this I had a good nights sleep and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and pleasant.

The restaurant was quite good, for both breakfast and dinner (but wine too expensive). My room was mostly OK, at the price. BUT the bathroom door had to be kicked hard to actually close it - and then to open it from inside required heaving on the handle so hard that I think it might have pulled off and left me trapped in there! Didn’t the housekeeping staff know about this dangerous situation?

From the moment I walked in, to that when I left, the staff were superb. Available to help when required, helped to create a great environment. Pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub were used in the evening and morning, clean towels available at reception each time. Breakfast, again helpful and food was good too. Would stay again and will be.

Everywhere is tired. Bath in our room was unsafe, no bath mat to stop slipping, bath floor was moving. Dirty around around shower glass hinge. As such, the bath was not used and I went in the pool shower. However, that was just as bad. Looks dirty and in dire need of complete refurb. Hairdryer in our room was broken too. Breakfast was good.

Dirty shoe box

The room provided was like a shoe box and dirty and in dire need of upgrading. It could not be changed as the hotel was full as there was a wedding on. I got a different room on the third night however I stayed. I returned for the fourth night as I had to collect my bag. I availed of the new room which was better but still in need of upgrading.

It is located in a really nice town with lots of lovely shops, pubs and places to eat. The Old Mill its self is as it states OLD. looks and feels old however there is a nice feel about the place. I have stayed in worse but for the money I have stayed in nicer as well. I am traveling with business so it did the job however I wouldnt spend my hard earned money taking a break here.

Nice hotel position and overall clean but very dated rooms need upgrades . No air conditioning and shower over bath not good. However staff friendly and efficient, breakfast home cooked to order and delicious.
