Lovely hotel. But the choices in the room and bathroom of dark colors makes lighting very difficult. In the bathroom especially the updates are beautiful but the lighting is dim and attempting to do make up and hair styling was challenging!

Solid stay

Common areas and lobby were really nice. Parking is very convenient and reasonably priced. Room condition was average, and our bathroom was very average. Property has clearly been around for a while, and could tell they have reinvested in the lobby and bar areas, not so much in the rooms. Location was perfect.

Traveling as a Family of 5, we appreciated the little touches like the hammocks in the hotel’s courtyard and the giant chess set on the balcony. The indoor pool was quite small so we skipped the pool. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! All in all, it was a great stay — However, we weren’t expecting an additional charge of $35 per room as a resort fee.

Fantastic location and hotel.

Great location! Premium lake view is worth the upgrade. It is on floor 6 or 7 so you can see over the trees to view all of Lake Champlain! LOVED this hotel. Great amenities, gym, pool, restaurants, close to water and bike path and downtown is an easy walk.

I liked the proximity to the lake, church St, food options. Walkability around the area. My room was clean, TV large, pillows and bed comfortable. Staff helpful, welcoming and available. Lily May breakfast brunch delicious.

We only stayed for the weekend, but the staff were so kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The area around the hotel is full of small shops, restaurants, pubs. Everything is also walking distance meaning you can leave your car at the hotel.

We booked a King bed, Lake View room. When we checked in we asked if there were any rooms that also had a bath tub. I wish the front desk had let us know that while we could have a bathtub, the view would be less Lake. See pic for the “lake view” which was not exactly what we had imagined when we booked it.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a great view. It’s a good location too, and the rooms are very clean. I didn’t like the 28 dollar resort fee each day, and there were only a few men’s bikes available, so we couldn’t bike.

Room was fine. I stay here every 5-6 weeks for business. Requested a room with a particular view. Which I always stay in. Several rooms were available with the same bed selection I paid for. Staff at check made it a hassle and upcharged me significantly for my usual room. Then gave me the wrong room which I had to go back down and correct because it was one with out the view I just requested and paid for. This nickel and dime attitude is annoying and if a neighboring solution becomes available I seriously am considering taking my repeat business there.

I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing and deserves to be addressed. From the moment we entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness and maintenance were not a priority. The room was noticeably dirty, several items were broken, and the overall condition made us question whether the space had been properly cleaned or maintained at all. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with oddly shaped pillows that offered no support, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. Compounding the issue was the location of our room — right next to the elevator — which meant we were constantly disturbed by mechanical noises throughout the night. On top of that, the air conditioning unit made an ongoing mechanical hum that added to the sleepless environment. We had hoped to find some comfort downstairs at Lilly May’s Cafe, only to discover that their espresso machine was out of order for the entire duration of our stay — something that’s simply unacceptable for any full-service hotel, let alone a Hilton. The only redeeming factor is the location, which is within walking distance to the marketplace and Lake Champlain. Unfortunately, the condition of the property overshadowed any convenience. The lack of upkeep, attention to detail, and basic hospitality made the place feel neglected and frankly unsafe. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this property. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone until serious improvements
