Great location for a female solo traveler, on main thoroughfare but with the window closed I got a great night sleep. Perfect location on the Pest side close to bridge and ferris wheel and lots of shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was vegetarian friendly and great atmosphere. Wifi was great, room was clean and very good price. Would stay here again!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was busy, as expected, but the selection was good. It’s a good location. Walkable to many areas or close to public transportation. The room wasn’t very large but is fine for one or two people who don’t have several suitcases.

I had a great time in Budapest, transport from the hotel was convenient, it was close to the stop on Deak Ferenc so reaching the airport from the hotel was very easy. I only had breakfast one time but it was good when I had it!

We booked 3 nights, first 2 nights slept at room number 212 with about 0.75 foot big concave in one side of bed. Very bad! We requested for changing room and they told us sold out. No one was immediately to help us with the problem. 3rd day morning I went to front desk and finally we got our room changed. I have been booking with Hotels.com for years and never reported any complaints. But this time I want hotel to pay us back for our damages.

Great Location

D8 turned out to be the ideal home base for our time in Budapest. The location couldn’t be better—you can walk to most of the city’s highlights, which made exploring incredibly easy. Our room was clean, modern, and cozy—just what we needed after full days of sightseeing. Breakfast offered plenty of variety and was a nice way to start the day. If you’re after a comfortable, well-priced hotel in a prime spot, D8 is a great choice.
