Eric the concierge was amazing! Truly made the entire stay memorable and worthwhile. He was diligent in sharing tips for navigating Parisian culture for dining and transit. The hotel was not only well preserved piece of history, the rooms were bright and airy with plenty of room. Accessing the hotel can a challenge, with narrow staircases and small treads. The elevator can only be accessed from the 2nd floor as a result of historical preservation of the building. If you have any physical disability this hotel is not suited for you. We knew this prior to arrival so were prepared for the oddities that accompany an older hotel. Location was convenient access for walking everywhere and metro when needed. We LOVED our stay here and will be back!

Friendly staff, good location, close to Brussels Centraal and about thirty minutes walk from Brussels Midi. Location was within walking distance of the main attractions. Room was small, however it was clean and had good quality mattress and bedding. There’s a Carrefour express nearby and some cafes. We didn’t go for hotel breakfast.

An Ok hotel

An ok budget hotel. The location was handy for central station, park and cathedral. The hotel was clean and the rooms were fine for sleeping in but too small to move around in. The staff were friendly but the the hotel seemed under staffed for such a busy weekend period, resulting in frequent queues. Overall just ok.

Nice hotel

We stayed two nights at Motel One and found it to be a lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating, offering suggestions when asked. The rooms are tiny and don’t have tea and coffee making facilities, nor a fridge. Our bathroom while small was very clean and had a rainfall shower which was lovely. The hotel location is very good - can walk to anywhere. There are also good cafes and restaurants as well as a laundry close by. The tram runs down the street on which the hotel is located.
