I do truly think the home is beautiful, and a beautiful location. The location was so great and neutral to everything nearby! Communication with the host was terrible, but I do appreciate them accommodating our trip by moving it to another weekend due to inclement weather. Noted, and none of this is at fault to us, only what we found: hair in the bed that was not ours, the overhead light in the kitchen did not work (needs new bulb), the hot water in the house is great but did not work well for us in the shower/tub after returning inside from the hot tub for hours. The hot tub was clean, and lovely! Beware, access to the back yard and firepit can be limited to those with disabilities, elderly, or children as it is a steep drop from the porch to the ground with no steps. Otherwise lovely. Wouldn’t mind booking again if absolutely needed, but I would book elsewhere for the security in knowing the host is great with communication. We never bother host unless necessary, but having the availability while staying in their home is comfort.

The cabin was beautiful, but unfortunately the room was very dirty upon arrival. The floors appeared unswept and unmopped, with sand, dirt, and clumps of hair throughout. The bathtub, blanket, and foot mat were also dirty, and the hot tub had dirt and grass inside, despite the note saying it is drained after each guest. A Keurig was provided, but there were no K-cup pods or body wash, so future guests should bring their own. Given the cleaning fee, we expected the space to be clean. The neighbors are very close, so you can hear them, and the hot water tank wasn’t large enough to fill the jacuzzi quickly, which was the main feature of the stay.

Overall, the cabin was cute and the location was great. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by several issues.Communication with the property owner was very poor. Additionally, the cabin did not appear to have been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. We found trash under the bed, a makeup brush on the living room floor in front of the couch, and melted wax around the bathtub that had not been cleaned up. We also saw and killed a roach in the kitchen.The listing photos appear to be out of date. The pictures show a regular drip coffee maker, but the cabin now has a Keurig. The bar stools are in very poor condition, extremely rickety, and felt unsafe to sit on. Lastly, the fireplace remote control did not work, so the fireplace was not usable.While the cabin has potential and the location is nice, these issues made our stay less enjoyable.

This is anfabulous place to unwind and relax. Everything was neat and clean, as well as a nicely furnished kitchen. Our host was so nice and easy to talk to if we needed anything. We will definately plan on coming back!

Heavens Gate

Great cabin. Loved bathtub and hot tub. Back porch is nice that overlooks a pond nearby. No path to pond though. Cabin not stocked with soap or shampoo, nor coffee or spices other than salt and pepper. Very nice place!!!

Only things i would change is the dishes and utensils. Ie. there was only one coffee cup other items like that. Also they were accommodating on date change, i had insurance. But when I moved the date I also added a day, which they approved via chat but didnt get recorded so a little confusing, but resolved easily.

Weekend getaway

The area is beautiful! I did not expect the cabins to be so close to each other, we had loud neighbors. The cabin was adorable, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of it. The bedding was old and stained, as was the couch. It was very dusty and there was a lot of dog hair everywhere. I understand it’s pet friendly but for those of us with no pets the hair everywhere is not fun. Dust bunnies everywhere. Overall not terrible, enjoyed it. Just wish it was cleaner.
