Apart from the young, tall, white man on reception, who was rude and dismissive with an attitude, my one night stay was fine. Good size room. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. A fridge would have been good to have. In room dining is very limited. The layout of the hotel for the 9th floor, is complicated. Breakfast choices was fair. Though the eggs had a funny smell. Carpet in communal areas need a good clean, with large stains near lifts. All female staff at reception came across very well.

The hotel is lovely, the room was also very clean and well appointed and the breakfast was great. The reason for 4 starts and not 5.....our room for 3 had only an internal window in to the hotel lobby/reception - this is a big and airy space but - no outside view and no opening window - the room therefore got very hot (resulting in a very disturbed night). There is aircon but it went off at 11.00 and it was only in the morning that we read we could override this and get it going again but even then only allowed the room to get down to 19C. So - if you book a room and this would bother you then ask for a room with an external window! It was a very nice and reasonably priced hotel other than this.
