Undisclosed Cameras and Safety ConcernsVacated early due to severe safety/privacy violations. We booked this property when it had zero reviews, trusting Vrbo’s safety standards. That trust was misplaced. Despite 5 notifications to Host/Vrbo, our concerns were met with silence. Upon arrival, we found multiple air fresheners masking a persistent mold odor. Initially, we tried to overlook a prohibited indoor camera (laundry), unaware it was a prohibited zero-tolerance violation of Vrbo’s 2026 Policy. However, we then found a hidden pool camera with no listing disclosure/signage (apparent violation of FL Statute 934.03).The host was selectively responsive (cutlery/minor items) but deflected on life-safety hazards like exposed live wiring. We requested relocation under the VrboCare Guarantee, but Vrbo ignored our pleas, leaving a post-surgical patient in a hazardous environment. Flex the moment the pool surveillance was found. Avoid this property.
