The hotel is tired with worn out carpets in the bedroom and common areas. This is a shame because the bed was clean and comfortable, likewise the bathroom was clean and functional. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I guess you get what you pay for as it is cheap.

The hotel was clean but room could do of a bit of refurbishment. The bathroom had no safety rails to get in and out of the shower. Has this hotel caters for a lot of coaches which in most cases are pensioners like me this is an accident waiting to happen. The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and helpful with everything we needed. Good entertainment most nights but outside garden could do with a good clean up.

It’s a 3 star hotel that doesn’t pretend to be anything other. It’s clean. The food is good and the staff are very helpful. Despite the fact that the hotel was full the room was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. It was really hot outside and the hotel staff provided us with a fan. Great place to stay

Comfortble Beds & Pool At Carrington House Hotel

Bed very comfortable as usual with mattress being less than 6 months old compared to cheap, old, lumpy mattresses in small Independent hotels. Reception staff professional plus it also has a pool too.

A decent enough, clean hotel. Quite tired and shabby, in need of an update and some TLC. Staff were friendly and helpful, but breakfast needed more staff as the poor lady managing all the tables on her own was a bit overwhelmed. Perfect for what I needed which was an overnight stay for a wedding.
