Perfect for snorkels/scuba divers
This lovely two bedroom home is literally 300 steps from Petite Malendure which is a snorkeled dream spot. Just .33 miles to many dive shops ready to take out divers around Cousteau Reserve. We paid for both but quickly realized it is not necessary. We spent hours upon hours explore the reef off the beach and finding something each time. Turtles are abundant with eels, squid, rays, etc.
About the home: Parking is provided above the home which is located on the side of a mountain. Getting to the car or beach requires walking up/down a steep slope. Upon entry there is a kitchen and dining table with a living space to the left. This is an open space with no windows (so bugs will be sharing the space with you). When slats are open, a bird or two may pop in. The cool mountain breeze helps it stay cool along with the fans. One master bedroom with ensuite on 1st floor with A/C. Large spaces with ample closet space. To get upstairs, there are steep, narrow steps to a full bedroom (also has A/C) and second bathroom. There is ample space for a family of 4. Internet was available for email and communication. The communication with the owner and the manager was easy and they assisted us with our stay, despite the language barrier. We were thankful for their kindness and understanding.
