Always a very pleasant check in experience with this hotel. The staff are very kind and customer service is A1. The location is a bit odd as in the middle of a trading estate.

Ok hotel but not worth the price

Stayyed here a couple of times and at the village chain many times. Check was a bit slow as the self checknin was in error but nevermind. Food in restaurant nice and fresh, good service and reasonably priced. Room clean as expected. Tried turning on TV but remote was missing, unsuccessfully tried contacting reception by scanning the QR code for this - dont bother nobody replies. Walkwd down and asked for a remote, half an hour later one was brought and now the TV doesn't actually work!! By this point i wasnt going back to reception and no point in messaging. Little thing maybe but you expect a working TV when paying so much for the room. Car park also a bit busy and poor markings.

Fire alarm nightmare.

Nice hotel - clean. There was a fire alarm in the night time and we all had to walk downstairs and outside in the cold. Then to be standing therr for 10 minutes not being told anything. Another guest was shouting at the staff who shouted back at the-guest! We had to walk back up the stairs to the 2nd floor. I am disabled and asked the staff about the lift who replied it wont be working for ages yet and walked off!!

Night staff unable to control rowdy guests

Terrible nights stay. The door of the club room had a gap of about 1 inch at the bottom and any corridor noise was heard even with towels blocking the gap. Female occupants of the room opposite were rowdy, loud and had lots of “gentlemen callers” all through the night. The night staff were informed 3 times but no action was taken. They had plenty of opportunity as the “ladies” went outside for smokes every hour and banged the door on exit and entry. I know it’s hard to control bad behavior but I felt very let down that no attempt was made by staff to talk to the “ladies” when they were in there room. Seemed like everyone on our floor apart from the “ladies” were at Starbucks when it opened all complaining about the lack of sleep and staff inaction.

April Long Weekend away

Stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions. I find location perfect for my purposes. Service and cleanliness is always good. However, I was surprised to be charged parking fees for the first time, although I was a guest - not a good policy!
