The home is conveniently located just 30 miles from SeaTac Airport, 25 miles from Mt. Rainier National Park, and close to Seattle, Tacoma, scenic trails, shopping, and local parks.

This is a private room + shared bathroom in a shared home. The room includes a desk, closet, chest of drawers, mini fridge, microwave, standing lamp, smart blinds with remote, WiFi, and heating/AC.
The bathroom is beside your room and fully stocked with essentials like towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer. Extras include free street parking, exterior security cameras, and keyless entry with a personalized code.

The room and the house were clean, the view and the community were lovely, but this was setup like a HOSTEL situation and not a standard BNB.There are 9 rooms, all labeled and all with different guests and a variety of shared amenities. It was a warm day and the rooms are not climate controlled. Although the house did have central Heat and AC, it seemed to be turned off around 10:30/11PM at night and made for a very warm and uncomfortable sleeping environment. At around 1AM I resorted to opening the window, but that did little to help. The bed and sheets were uncomfortable, the two pillows were very cheap and thin and there was no top sheet available ( none in the closet either).Overall, the price was right.

There's nothing inherently wrong with this location. The house, room, and bathroom are all clean and well-kept. The check in process is easy and the host was communicative and respectful. My issue is primarily the accuracy of the listing and the consistency of the materials given.1) I don't know if this was present at the time I booked, but there is a very small print that requires opening a second part of the "menu" on VRBO that is the only place that mentions the SHARED bathroom. It appears as if it ensuite in the listing. Pretty misleading and not what I was looking for.2) Air conditioning...but not really. The entire home has heating/cooling, but you have zero control over that in your room. No thermostat whatsoever. There IS a fan, that even at full blast does not touch the heat inside the bedroom.3) House rules: Several small issues with this. This location is advertised as Adults Only on VRBO. However, what is not clear is that there IS a small child that lives in the home. The child is kept out of the guest areas, but still misleading. The single page House Rules document contradicts its own quiet hours (10-7 vs 11-7). Checkout time on VRBO is 11, but on the house rules, it is 10:30. You are also asked not to eat in bed, despite there being a single small desk with ONE uncomfortable gamer chair as an alternative. Not practical in the slightest.TLDR: Not as advertised, but is nice for what it ACTUALLY is.

I’d give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. The house and room were pretty clean! Nice location. It is street parking but it’s in a nice neighborhood so we weren’t as worried once we got there. I would describe this as being in between a hotel and hostel - other rooms are rented by other strangers and there is a shared bathroom. Basically like staying in a dorm tbh. But surprisingly we barely saw the other guests and it was pretty quiet. The bed itself was pretty hard. However, after asking the host about this, they were quick to ordering us a mattress topper which made it a little better :)The fridge is pretty small, don’t expect to fit too much in there! But we mostly ate out so it wasn’t a big deal. The views around the neighborhood were very pretty. I will say the price could be a little lower, primarily cause you could spend a little more to stay in a hotel with your own bathroom, maybe a comfier bed, and your own control of the AC - the ac would randomly go off and it would get a bit stuffy, but it helped to use the fan and open the window. Overall, it wasn’t outrageously expensive either way. The host is incredibly kind!
