Dorint was in a great location. Room was very spacious and very clean. Housekeeping was great always Available for extra towels and extra duvet. Front staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast we had one day was good but a bit expensive. The hotel was very close to transport 3-4 min walk and 4-5 min walk in to the center of town for food and shopping. Also loved added security of having to swipe your key to access the elevator. Felt safe that this was there.

Andreas Praß went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. He truly is an exceptional representative of the Dorint Hotel. Other than that, the room wasn’t cleaned, their new telephone system wasn’t working and toilet needed to be fixed. Five stars for Andrea’s P,, but only 2 for everything else.

This is a lovely hotel, I would however recommend visiting when they have completed their renovations, we did experience a few issues, but the staff were apologetic and issued a partial refund because of the difficulties we experienced. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The staff in the restaurant helped me source some ice for a swollen ankle which was much appreciated. We did not take breakfast in the hotel as it was 27 Euro pp. we walked up to the main platz and there was a lovely cafe to have breakfast. There was secure parking under the hotel at an additional charge. The old town city centre is very conveniently located. We used the pool and gym, additional charge for the pool of 5 euros, but we had it all to ourselves.

Overall good experience but AC didn’t work properly, breakfast could’ve been better for the amount charged, and I didn’t understand why we had to pay extra €5/adult to use the pool. Also parking at €28/night seems a bit high for a car park in the premises and owned by the hotel

Fantastic location - located by the Rhine and next to bridge. 15 minutes walk from Bonn train station, 5 minutes to Bonn’s main pedestrian zone with shops and eateries, less than 10 minutes to Beethoven’s House/Museum as well. Also nearby tram stop. Suite was spacious and included coffee machine, mini-fridge and 3 TVs! Two balconies - both with views of the Rhine (although partially obscured by trees). Restaurant had lovely outdoor area for sitting along with sandpit for kids. Breakfast buffet good variety of cold and hot items, breads, pastries and pancake maker. Hot and cold drinks from machines and filter coffee also available. Helpful front desk staff and friendly restaurant staff. Did not try spa or swimming pool. Minor negatives - suite was slightly dark, sofa bed slightly uncomfortable, buffet selection did not change for 3 days. Would definitely stay here again.

Tired and Disappointed!

Arrived after a 12 hour drive and was looking forward to a rest before going out to dinner unfortunately the room above was being renovated and for over 2 hours it was so noisy and after calling reception was informed renovations are taking place and it will stop at 6pm! I know renovations have to take place but being directly below was horrendous especially as we were so tired and it just ruined our stay and of course made so tired we missed dinner!

It was a nice hotel.. wish the queen/king mattresses were just one piece and not two twin beds.. or at least have a comfortable topper so the guest can use the middle of the mattress.
