Very simple but nice and clean accommodations, breakfast was very good, snacks and water throughout the day and an evening light meal was available all included, for the price it can’t be beat! The staff was also very friendly! Easy access less than 10 minutes drive if you’re in the area for Phantasialand

Beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel, which had a huge flood disaster back in 2021, they have done amazingly well to rebuild from. Only issue is, they have a staffing problem in the evenings at the moment so cant provide a dinner service, they did put on a free snack buffet, but we needed more so drove 3 minutes to the neighbouring town to get some dinner. Otherwise a great hotel. With a selection of treats and fruit available all day.

Good business class hotel with some minor drawback

Very impressive historic property - former monastery - which has been renovated to high standards. Quiet bedrooms with excellent furnishings, and very good mattresses & bedding provided. Also, bathrooms are excellent.. Breakfast options are plentiful and service for breakfast room is very friendly. There are some minor drawbacks though: there are no window covers, curtains or shades (at least not in my corner room). This, you cannot "darken" the rooms at night. The Internet WIFI signal is somewhat weak. Also, i got "stuck" in the one and only elevator several times, when the lift doors just wouldn't want to close properly. It's also a long way from the parking lot to the hotel rooms. Onsite staff presence is quite limited in the early morning, evening and on weekends - and F&B options are very limited after breakfast (only 'snack buffet" in the lobby). Overall I had a nice enough stay, but you need to thoroughly check whether the hotel fits your needs. In general it did that fore and at an acceptable cost rate, too.

Ein wunderschönes Schloss in Laufnähe zum Phantasialand. Das edle Hotel lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und es wird sich bemüht auf besondere Anforderungen einzugehen. Einziges Manko: Schlechter WLAN-Empfang auf den Zimmern.

Wir hatten ein „altes“ Doppelzimmer und haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Insbesondere die Dusche hat einfach keinen sauberen Eindruck hinterlassen. Schwarze Flecken an den Duschwänden und der Teppichboden im Zimmer hat sich unter den Füßen einfach nicht sauber angefühlt. Im Gebäude selbst hat man überall spinnenweben gesehen. Die Frühstücksauswahl war auch sehr klein. Das Positive: man konnte sich die ganze Zeit kostenlos Wasser holen. Aber alles in allem würde ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen zu diesem Preis. Einfach überteuert für das was es war.
