Nice location. Rooms were clean, the bathroom was a nice size and we appreciated the double sink. The Bistro breakfast was nice with a sufficient amount of choices. The carpets in the hallways could use updating.... overall staff were friendly but we found other hotels we stayed at in Italy had a better Bar atmosphere if thats important to you.

The room was large and so was the bathroom. Nice kidney bath. Clean. The room was well equipped. Comfortable sofa, plus table and chair. The only negative of the room was that the air conditioning is turned off on 1st October and the room was hot, but the windows did open, but it was too warm when going to sleep. Some areas of the hotel corridors were showing signs of age and could do with upgrading. The breakfast was good (buffet). Service for breakfast was pleasant and the service during the day either in the dining area or in the outdoor garden area was pleasant and efficient. Location is very good. Easy walking into the main attractions of historic Bologna. The only problem is that new tram tracks are being built. The road is completely barriered off. There are some crossing points for pedestrians, but on arrival by taxi, they have to drop you on the busy main road, and you then walk to the hotel (not very far). Plenty of shops of all descriptions nearby. 10 minutes walk to the central train station. I would stay here again.

Our room window was open and had no lock, the window was large enough for someone to get in the room.We brought this to the hotels attention and nothing was done. Our room keys didn’t work repeatedly. The staff indicated it was our phones being next to the cards but we did not have the phones next to the cards. The staff were dismissive.

Be prepared for no air conditioning

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our biggest problem was NO air conditioning! We were extremely hot in our room and had to sleep with the windows open, on top of the sheets.

Location is good; however, the hotel is dated and old. The room was very dated and in desperate need of a refresh. The carpet was torn and appeared unkept. The surrounding streets were closed due to noisy construction.

Great location, however the room was extremely hot and was told they turn off AC for winter. Not fun temperature inside the room. Traveling all the way to the north of Italy and only Hotel turning off the AC it is sad.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and here’s my brief summary: Pros: The management agreed to move us to a larger room on a higher floor, which we appreciated. Cons: Unfortunately, the new room turned out to be the noisiest in the entire building, located at a corner facing ongoing road construction that ran daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The shower pressure was very weak, and the water temperature fluctuated constantly. When a hotel or its surroundings are under construction, Expedia should consider lowering the star rating to reflect the major inconvenience this causes to guests.

Very centrally located with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff was excellent. Room though small was comfortable. Only real complaint was the size of the shower in my room. Otherwise the hotel is great! Would definitely recommend and stay again.
