Great Neighborhood & Apartment

Loved our stay here and will definitely return for these reasons: (1) Chicó Reservado is a great neighborhood, felt safe walking in the area. Apt. Is on 93a and Carrera 9, one block away from Parque del Chicó, which I took my kids to several days. Weekends at the park are the best with several families hanging out there. Spoke with expat with kids that has lived in the area for several years and she also said she felt comfortable walking around the area during the day. Its also 4 min walk to Parque de La 93, which has another nice playground and many restaurants. Also close to a nice upscale Carulla Express market on 90th street and carrera 11 where I shopped at many days, and Le Grand (French restaurant) is next to it. Also walkable to Parque Japon and Parque Virrey (87th), which are great on Sundays, and has a great playground. (2) The balcony has a great view of the mountains, and I enjoyed sitting outside and people watching (people walking their dogs, orthodox jews walking to the nearby synagogue, etc) and hummingbird watch (yes you'll see hummingbirds in the city), as theres nice trees on the streets below. (3) Apt very clean with daily maid service and doormen were nice, and the pictures were accurate. (4) my wife and kids had a great time!
