What an amazing place to stay. Rob was great with communication and the apartment has everything you could need.I stayed for work and plan to stay many more times. So much better than a hotel and such a quiet and peaceful space. I have recommended to my friends and colleagues to use when in West Sussex.

Great communication with owner. Flat is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. It is so well equipped it has everything you could need and more. Great location across from the beach. In easy reach of Chichester, Arundel and Goodwood.

Rob was an incredibly thoughtful host. He made our stay feel warm and welcoming and shared so many helpful tips and recommendations on the best places to visit locally. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, with everything we needed for a great stay. Communication was excellent throughout, and we felt well looked after from start to finish. We really enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends and family :)

Perfect hideaway

Goldeneye matched the relaxed and welcoming feeling of the area. Rob is a very generous host and has created a really stylish but cozy space for the perfect getaway.

Great location with very easy access to beach.The apartment has everything you need plus Rob provided a very generous welcome gift.Rob provided plenty of local information in advance to help with planning.

If you are looking for an extremely clean, extraordinary well equipped place close to the beach and away from the hustle and bustle of tourism then this is the place for you to stay! It is smaller than the photos appear it to be, but still enough for two and a dog. Would book it again! Thank you, Rob, for all the little details you are paying attention to, going above and beyond the usual.

Great Location

We have just returned from a great Easter weekend in Elmer. Goldeneye is in a good location only a short walk to the beach and the pub. The apartment was clean through out and had everything you could need. Rob was very friendly and sent loads of information and could not have tried harder to make sure our weekend was perfect.

Rob was an excellent host, informative, contactable & friendly.The apartment was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. The bed was comfy, towels and blankets provided.A little hamper was left for us which was a nice touch.The apartment was very close to the beach and in a private estate. We walked on the beach every evening with our dog and it was very quiet!We visited nearby Arundel castle and also popped to Brighton, Chichester & Bognor for day trips. Would stay again. Thank you.

Elmer sands review

Compact flatlet. easy path access to a steep stony beach. The area is a dog lovers paradise. Casual parking close to beach not available and to the local shops very limited.

Rob is an excellent host; he replied to our messages super-fast and his communication style was always warm and helpful. He provided a wealth of information before we even arrived, and there is also a file in the kitchen containing the info, which includes extensive recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the area. The apartment is very clean, warm and cosy, and Rob has included many thoughtful touches, such as a welcome basket for the humans, and an amazing drawer for the dogs, in case you’d forgotten anything!The beach is literally steps away and our dogs absolutely loved their time down there! It was also a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Many thanks for hosting us Rob, we really enjoyed our stay!

Our beach hut getaway

My husband and I loved our stay at Goldeneye. The apartment had the feel of a welcoming beach hut very warm and cosy and it had everything you’d need for a self catering stay. There was a very useful hamper upon arrival and as it was my 50th birthday even a chocolate cake and card, very thoughtful indeed! The host even catered for our dog with treats, balls and a lead if we had forgotten ours! Superb quiet location right on the beach and close to a lot of attractions and places to visit. Great beach walks to Littlehampton and Bognor Regis, Felpham Beach was great for a dip in the ocean too. The host was always responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay. Highly recommend a stay at Goldeneye.

Beach Hut Sussex Weekend

We had a lovely 3 night stay last weekend in Goldeneye at Elmer, a clean, comfortable and relaxing Beach Hut in a quiet area less than 5 minutes walk from the beach. We were fortunately blessed with some good weather. It's a great location to explore the surrounding area and for doing walks, which we did to Felpham and Bognor, which is about one hour 20 minutes away. Rob was the perfect host, very welcoming and always available at the end of the phone if needed, he came back very quickly with answers to a couple of questions we had. There were even items in the accommodation that we had never seen before in holiday homes, such as the phone chargers (in case people had left theirs at home). We hope to return at some point, highly recommended.

Great accommodation and fantastic host

Really lovely little apartment, felt so homely and Rob the host could not do enough for us. So many lovely personal touches - welcome hamper and sign, toiletries, books to read (loved the fun ones in the bathroom), tea, coffee, hot chocolate. The local area knowledge and advice from Rob was superb. Sept texts with recommendations but also extensive guide.Every day we went somewhere hed recommevded and we're not disappointed . The beach literally 30 seconds from apartment is gorgeous. This place is heaven if you have a dog or just like walking and exploring, so many places you can walk to. Unfortunately I have mobility issues due to treatment I'm on so couldn't do usual walks but this did not spoil the weekend at all. Elmer is very quiet, a real get away from it all place.

Lovely apartment close to the beach

Really lovely apartment with everything & more. Comfortable, with so many personal touches. Plenty of information in advance of our arrival to make our stay perfect. We walked to Worthing one day & caught the train back to Littlehampton, walking back from there. Park run in Littlehampton & then we walked to Bognor the other way. On our third day we walked inland to Arundel all the way along the river from Littlehampton & caught the trains back to Ford, changing there for Littlehampton. Loved not using the car at all.. such a great base. So many lovely touches in the apartment - shampoo, conditioner, facial wipes etc couldn’t want for more! The kitchen had everything we needed too - I have never used an air fryer before.. makes me want to get one now. Thank you for such a perfect base to stay.
