Couldn't get early check in due to this company not being organized, they had some wood work being done prior to me getting there however they were still there when my check-in process begun, another 2 hours I had to wait while they were working on the property before I can start enjoying my vacation. Then I found out that the outside bins for garbage and recycling was not picked up so they were overflowing with garbage going down the side of the mountain, a lot of internal things not working correctly bulbs missing air hockey table leg broken I don't understand how nobody looks at this stuff before they rent these out.

Great House

The cabin is stunning and perfect for a family getaway. Unfortunately, we had serious issues on arrival: no clear gate access instructions, no cell signal, and a broken A/C Thankfully, the technician came early and fixed it, and Ms. Tressa was kind and responsive once we connected. We'd love to return — just hope future guests have a smoother check-in.

Amazing Family Vacation & Views

If you love the outdoors, animals, nice deck with amazing views, and a wonderful house - This is the place for you. Having two master suites was perfect. Kids loved everything - bedroom, games, air hockey, fireplace. We’ve stayed in several vacation rentals and this was very clean and didn’t have an overpowering smell of air fresheners. Overall it very much exceeded expectations. It felt very secluded but nestled in a nice nice little community. We couldn’t see any other nearby properties from the property.If I had to nitpick - Small indoor trash can, small coffee cups, no patio furniture on bottom deck, more seating in the living room (they did drop off some extra chairs for us).

Beautiful cabin! Great mountain sunrise view!!

We enjoyed our stay at Wren’s nest! The cabin was beautiful! The beds were very comfortable!!! Great look out Mountain View with sunrise from back porch!! We saw at least 100 deer while traveling to and from the cabin. The kids loved the air hokey table!! The cabin was very clean upon arrival, prob the cleanest Vrbo we have stayed at so far, and trust me my wife checks, she pulls the sheets back the sheets and checks them all when we get there and inspects for cleanliness. The cabin was very large, and more than enough room for a family of 5 and a dog!! Cabin was very secluded, quiet and peaceful !!

This home is managed by Grand Welcome. Brooke, Terrence and Teresa were our local contacts. They were awesome!!! The home was beyond clean and perfect amenities!! Views were gorgeous! I’d give this home 10 stars if possible!!! Would definitely stay here again!!

July 4th weekend getaway

Beautiful views. Slightly cooler at times than Atlanta! Enjoyed fireworks displays across the valley. Did lots of cooking on the grill. Enjoyed the covered porch and even built a fire when it really cooled down after a rainstorm. Only 20 minutes drive to Blue Ridge - Mercier Orchards, Wal-Mart, downtown area with many shops. Make sure to keep trash locked as bears will visit looking for food!

Absolutely stunning views of the mountains in this cabin. There was also plenty of room for two families. I really loved this cabin it is beautiful. We hope to return.

Perfect Spot for Families

Overall we had a great stay! The only downside was we had an issue with raccoons being able to get into the locked trash bin outside and we ended up having to clean up the previous renters trash multiple times. We just ended up keeping our trash inside the house until our last day. I completely understand that the property managers can not control wild animals though. They did eventually have the trash company come pick up the previous renters trash. Aside from that, the house was clean and perfect for our group of 8. (4 adults and 4 kiddos). The view was amazing!! I recommend you plan to bring some extra trash bags, ziploc bags, and foil if you're planning to cook and keep left overs!

Boys trip

Annual boys trip. Perfect view. Six of us slept like kings. We grilled out, drive about 45 to fly fish and trap shoot. Awesome spot. Some of the guys said they would be bringing their families back to this house.

Birthday get away

It was a great stay at the cabin. Beautiful views and just the perfect amount of space. I was very happy overall but a few suggestions. Have barbecue tools especially with two grills available. Pots and pans very sparse. Garbage around property should be cleaned up. They 2 bags of garbage we picked up upon arrival was disgusting and really easily cleaned if someone had done it before animals scattered. Toilet/bathtub basement needs work along with loose toilet seats in several bathrooms. We will definitely return and although my list looks extensive these are easy fixes. Thank you. Host was very nice.

Minor issues, but great communication!

Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book again!! A few things to note: Property was very clean and well maintained. Carpet in the basement was super plush and comfy. Beds were very comfortable and had plenty of pillows! Our kids loved the basement and air hockey table, and the large selection of board games. We used both the grill and outdoor fireplace with no issues. Kitchen wasn’t as well stocked as others I’ve stayed in (specifically lack of grill utensils like a grill spatula, and cutting boards). We arrived around dinnertime and started the oven but smelled a distinct propane smell. Figured it would go away after a few minutes but it didn’t, and the oven itself wasn’t actually heating up. Called the Grand Welcome number and they put us in touch with our local host, Tressa. She was EXTREMELY apologetic and sweet, reiterated we should stop using the stove immediately and she’d call the gas company as soon as they opened. She was up early to call the gas company and called me at 8:15 the next morning. Had someone out within a few hours and confirmed the propane tank was empty. Tressa worked with the gas company and kept me well-informed throughout the whole ordeal. A few hours later, we had a full propane tank and were (literally) cooking with gas! We don’t expect things to be perfect every time, but I think you can tell a lot about your vacation hosts by how they deal with issues when things go wrong, and that goes a lot further than a perfect stay!

One of our favorite cabin rentals. The house is beautiful, clean, comfy beds, breathtaking views. Perfect for a few days of rest. Host Grand Welcome and Terrance & Tressa were very attentive to our needs. Hope to return soon

Great stay in the mountains

The kids have lived in flat Florida for most of their lives and they really enjoyed seeing and driving through the mountains! We all had fun out on the deck taking in the view and playing air hockey. The dog and kids enjoyed the backyard/ front yard and the neighborhood was great!

We LOVED our relaxing stay at Wren’s Nest. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, pet friendly, and had everything we needed for our stay including all kitchen cookware, utensils, and supplies to cook (oil, seasonings, etc). The Mountain View from the patio was heavenly. Checkin was easy and the owners were easily available by text and phone. We truly couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us.
