Location is stunning, open interior, peaceful and relaxing, handicap accessible, but not ADA compliant bathrooms, accurate description of driveway and parking, game room was awesome, even for 60 year old kids

New to vacation home rentals, I was charged with selecting a home for our family of 10 to converge for a long overdue vacay. I crossed my fingers, hoping for the best, and much to my surprise and with a sense of relief, soon understood that I totally found the right spot for us!*The house is well maintained and wonderfully appointed.*Booking was easy, communication before, during and after our stay with our host, Mark, was timely.Our entire family enjoyed our time together in this house so much we hope to return during the other seasons of the year to experience other opportunities to explore Blue Ridge.

Perfect Mountain House

I don’t typically leave reviews but we loved this house so much that I wanted to share our experience. This house was one of the cleanest and most well stocked rentals I’ve stayed at. It had anything you might need and it’s the perfect size and layout for large parties. Even with 3 families staying there, it didn’t feel crowded. The views are beautiful and I loved all the decks it had. It was also just a few minutes from the grocery store, restaurants, and downtown even though you feel like you’re way up in the mountains. Highly recommend this house!

Excellent Stay

We had 3 generations of family (10 guests total) and the accommodations were perfect. Everyone had a bed and each family had a bathroom. The bedrooms are spaced so each family had privacy. The views are great and the Pool Table was hit along with Air Hockey. Most everyone enjoyed the hot tub at some point. The dining room table is beautiful and fit all of us at meal times. Our host was great. It was a wonderful stay.

The best couples trip!

This was the best house for a couples trip accommodating 12 people! Plenty of space to all hangout together or go to separate rooms for girl time/guy time! We grilled and cooked with the fully equipped kitchen. One of our couples even got engaged on the back deck with the beautiful views! Mark was very responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. Hope to be returning in the future!!

Great Cabin

The Cabin is really nice. The views are great. While it is private and quiet it is conveniently located near downtown blue ridge. The property manager was very helpful. We highly recommend this cabin!

Incredible Views

We enjoyed our stay over the week of Thanksgiving. We had a minor issue with the fireplace and Mark was very responsive to help us get it resolved. This house is large and beautiful with incredible views of the sunrise over the mountains!

We love Sunrise Chalet

Great cabin with a lot of amenities! The host is great to communicate with and checked on us while we were there! The view from the back of the cabin was stunning! Great for children! We’ve stayed there twice and both times it’s been wonderful! I highly recommend this cabin!

Awesome 3rd year!

Awesome as always and super clean, Mark is always easy to reach out to if you need to. This beautiful home is one of the best we ever stayed at, this is our 3rd year in a row. Amazing Views and Convenient Location

The listing is very accurate. The views are phenomenal morning and night. This is something we value in a mountain rental and this property did not disappoint! The house itself is very cozy. My wife and I stayed here with our five children and her parents. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. We enjoyed making breakfast and eating by the fireplace! We enjoyed hanging out downstairs and playing pool and air hockey while listening to music on the smart TV. It really is setup quite well and was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location is superb! You can run to the store and get what you need in 10 minutes or go to a waterfall hike in 25 minutes! You can’t beat that. Being that it’s close to downtown Blue Ridge (Hwy 76), it is centrally located for venturing out to other areas of the beautiful Appalachian mountains. We visited family in Maryville, TN, went to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, and went to antique shops in Elijay and McCaysville. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Wonderful location for group stay

This is a truly wonderful property to stay at. Plenty of room, games, movies, beds, utensils and everything you could need in the kitchen... Property owner communication was quick and addressed all questions. One thing to note is that taking a quick run or bike at the property, while technically not impossible, is difficult due to the slope, however there are numerous trails and paths within very short drives to meet that need.

Adventures in Blue Ridge

The property was easy to find and a large beautiful house. While the road does not accommodate long or big vehicles, it was easy to navigate in your typical cars. Paved parking was a huge bonus!! Wonderful views and plenty of room for our large group. We would definitely visit again!

Wonderful stay

Mark was very responsive to questions I had. The kitchen is very well equipped. The decks are amazing. Love that we were all able to enjoy private quiet time to enjoy the sunrise or gather for morning coffee. Multiple decks and seating options! The neighborhood is quiet, no next door neighbors. I felt safe while alone on my morning walks. Shopping very close. Would definitely return.

WORTH IT!

We visited with our family and BOY was this an outstanding place! Ample space, never felt crowded, always could find a cozy place to unwind and chillax, plenty of views as advertised. Stunning scenery! The owner was very easy to communicate with and the entire cabin is layed out very well and will definitely please ages of all sorts, and the cabin is very well labeled!! A huge help!

Wonderful

Mark is a wonderful host. Every time I had to ask him a question he was always right back with an answer. This was our second time staying at his place and it is very very nice. Perfect for our big family. Everybody enjoyed themselves, the adults with the hot tub and even the kids with the hot tub. The kids loved all the activities of the rock, climbing wall and the slide. Thanks again for a wonderful time and allowing us to share your home.

One of our favorite places

We really enjoyed the stay! The host was super responsive. The place is exactly as pictured and described. Everything was extremely well thought of for the guests (paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, clean towels), we could not have been happier! And there is so much to do for everyone (pool, air hockey, hot tub, foosball, fire pit). Five stars!

Beautiful house and views

This house is great for a multigenerational family to stay in. Lots of space— two living areas and games for kids. The house was very clean. The views from the decks and the living room and master bedroom were excellent. Being so close to downtown Blueridge (6 min) was an added bonus for us. We did have problems with VRBO customer service the night we arrived as the door code didn’t work. Brendon was traveling by plane but called as soon as he landed and was very helpful in getting us in the house and following up with us later. It is just too bad that VRBO did not live up to its promises of great customer service. Other than that first night glitch, our stay was great. I would recommend this to families wanting a great place to get together.

Beautiful property with amazing views!

My family and I rented this property for a long weekend getaway to attend a wedding in Blue Ridge. We have vacationed to this area multiple times before and we have even rented other cabins in the area. This was the perfect cabin for our group. Our kids, ages 7 and 13, loved playing down stairs in the basement. The location is so peaceful and all of the neighbors in the area are very friendly. The property is beautiful, clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. The stone fireplaces were a nice bonus to have for the chilly nights. The mountain views from this property are breath taking. We are already talking about renting this property again for our next adventure to Blue Ridge. The property owner was great at communicating with us and even checked to make sure everything was to our liking. You will not be disappointed in booking this property!
