Great Stay in North Georgia

We really enjoyed staying at this home in North Georgia! The house had everything that we needed for the weekend, every room was really nice, and there was plenty of space for everyone. It's an easy walk down to the dock, and even though the water was way down with it being early March, it was nice to look at the lake and hang out down by the water.The hosts were very communicative and answered the questions that we had very quickly. We enjoyed everything about the house and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great time

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house was immaculate and I love to cook and the kitchen had most anything I needed for prep. We loved the privacy and enjoyed the sauna. Hope to visit again. Thanks, good times had by all.

Mountain vacation

My wife, sons/girlfriends and I wanted to do a group vacation before the end of the Summer. We wanted a place in either Georgia or Tennessee. A place that we can spend quality time together away from everything. From the start of the process until check out, the process was transparent and very easy. Elizabeth and Jacob were very responsive and helpful in providing suggestions. The instructions provided were very detailed and made it very easy to prepare for our trip. The cabin was very clean, well equipped with everything you need to have a great time. From the sauna, fire pit, kayaks. Beds were super comfy and AC was wonderful. We did some sightseeing in the area and traffic was very easy coming in and out of the cabin. We did spend a lot of time in the cabin itself and did some grilling and cooking, which was very comforting while spending time with the family. Great vacation and will do it again soon! Thanks to Elizabeth and Jacob for being such great hosts.

Wonderful bachelorette party getaway

I booked this property for a bachelorette weekend for my niece. She loves the water and kayaking. It was perfect and she loved it. The kitchen was well equipped and we had plenty of towels and beach towels. We left a shirt there and Jacob, our host for the weekend, contacted me right away and was very kind to offer to mail it back to us. Jacob was wonderful and made sure we were taken care of for our stay. I recommend this property.

First Class

Jacob and Elizabeth were by far the greatest hosts we have ever had the privilege of renting from. They answered every question we had within minutes (not days like other hosts). The weather conditions we’re getting bad prior to our arrival, they encouraged us to arrive early to beat the storm ( so nice). I had some problems with my truck due to weather and Jacob come over and helped get it running.. As far as the house, it was so beautiful, clean, well stocked and overall one of the best places we have ever visited. Thank you Jacob and Elizabeth

For a quiet, nice getaway with scenic views and hiking close by, I’d highly recommend this space. Very spacious property with modern amenities in a comfortable setting. The communication with the host was great and much appreciated.

Great for family

Rental was easy, property is beautiful and easy to locate, not high up mountain, paved roads, the lake is on the property you will walk just a few feet to the lake area and marina, grocery about 15 mins away, everything you need with great views and large size outdoor deck, terrific game room for the kids. The owners are amazing the house was well stocked and I left my laptop behind and they so willingly mailed it to me the very next day. Thank you for such a great vacation.

Better than expected!!!

This rental exceeded our expectations! Beds were comfy, pool table/ping pong room was perfect for late evening fun especially when it rained! The house was set up perfect with locking doors to stairs to keep our toddler safe! The fire pit was a hit along with the fabulous barrel sauna!! Easy access to the dock… with excellent swimming, fishing, and boating! The lake is beautiful! Lots of fun things to do within 40 minutes of travel… Loved the many great hiking adventures and trip into town! Even rented a boat from the charming local marina in the cove! Definitely will come back. Many great memories with the family!! 🥰

Best Christmas Vacation Ever! Better than expected!!

Our family {7 of us consisting of our two kids (12 and 17), my in-laws (70 and 72), my mother (73), my wife (47) and myself (51)} stayed in this amazing home for 8 glorious days, including Christmas Eve and Christmas 2021. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. All the rooms had TV sets, which we enjoyed. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent all over the house. The beds were very comfortable and we all commented how well we slept. The kids loved the downstairs sitting room, with the two comfy recliners. They played board games, and watched Netflix. The outside swing was a big hit! We all absolutely loved it, especially when the sun was setting over the mountains! We made s'mores in the outside fire pit. The house is easily accessible, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. We went to a few wineries in the area, enjoyed the Blue Mountain scenic railway ride, and had excellent pizza from Sicily restaurant in the area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and my mother in law, who is a chef, prepared delicious home cooked meals! Ingles grocery store is the closest, and had it all! Best of all, Jacob and Elizabeth, our hosts, went above and beyond with all the details of the home (including a gorgeous huge Christmas tree, and Christmas decorations, a welcome gift, and all the amenities we could have ever wanted). They were responsive and very helpful at all times. They really made us feel important and comfortable...special thank you to them. I highly recommend this home, you will fall in love, and never want to leave! We give it 5 stars, but, I wish we could give it 10!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (PS. Over the years, we have stayed in many, many, many vacation homes all over the USA, and this one, by far , has been our favorite!)

Just perfect!

We rented this home because of the proximity to our son's wedding venue, but would visit again because it was so perfect! We all felt so "at home" and enjoyed the beautiful decorations and amenities. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Everyone agreed the living room furniture and beds were much more comfortable than other homes we had rented in the past. There was plenty of room to relax on the back deck, in the under-deck swing and the chairs by the fire pit. We just returned home yesterday and are looking for another reason to visit again! This home will not disappoint!

Wonderful experience for a birthday celebration

I found a jewel renting this property! The house is beautiful, provides roominess with two floors of bedrooms. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and all our needs were met. The children enjoyed playing around the dock and we all cheered UGA to a win over Kentucky and the Braves beat the Dodgers! We would love to stay here again! It is a gorgeous home, close to numerous activities in Blairsville and Blue Ridge.

Labor day relaxation

A group of friends have been going to the north Georgia mtns for many years. Our planned house was cancelled at the last moment and we were able to rent this jewel and save our long planned getaway. The hosts were responsive, friendly and helpful. The house was clean and well equipped. The kitchen is small but had everything we could ever want. The bedding was super comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us. The path to the lake is a bit steep that some of our group could not do. The sitting area at the lake was very calming. The house is right off the road and road noise can be a detraction. It did get substantially quieter later in the evening. Overall the house was well maintained and well equipped and very comfortable for our group of 7. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were so accommodating and responsive and we recommend them highly.
