Charming harbour house with sea views
Built in 1860, this house was originally located next to the harbor and is still just 20 meters from the water. It was completely renovated in 2026, preserving the original beams and half-timbering, which give the house a charm that is hard to find in newer homes.
The renovation was carried out with care for the original details: the beams and half-timbering are exposed and give the house its character, while all the practical features are new and ready for use. From the bedroom, you’ll enjoy the same west-facing view as from the terrace, so you’ll have the water with you no matter where you are in the house.
The terrace is the perfect spot to sit as the sun sets over the water. The swimming pier is a few hundred meters east of the house, and the ice cream stand is 50 meters away—both are easily accessible on foot.
Lodskroen is the local restaurant, just 50 meters from the house. A walk along the water’s edge takes you to Holsteinborg Garden, which offers a viewpoint overlooking Holsteinborg Nor. The grocery store is 1 km away, Skælskør is about a 20-minute drive, and the Skovtårnet observation tower at Gisselfelt is a major tourist attraction about 40 minutes away.

It’s in a great location by the harbor. Beautiful, brand-new, and fully equipped with everything you need. (A large ladle and, if possible, a toaster would be extra handy.)
The only thing we missed was a shower door or screen in the bathroom.
