We arrived at the property and it was a self check in and all was well. However our room was in a terrible state.Tye beddings looked like there weren’t washed for awhile.the bedsheet had dirty obvious marks on it which were really disgusting.we called the owner as she was in contact to give us clean beddings and resolve the problem.we sent the photos of dirty beddings to her as well.she said she was going to come shortly, we waited for 30 minutes,she didn’t turn up and she didn’t take our call or text .We eventually had to look for another place to sleep as this was impossible.

Worst room ever

By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was not clean and smelled. Did not feel safe with other guests and shared facilities. Booked due to limited options for accommodation close to Stansted airport, had some issues with my booking and received no communication from the people who run it. I am not a snob at all and have stayed in some bad places before but this was by far the worst, do not book, especially if you have a family

DO NOT BELIEVE THE ADVERTISEMENT PICTURES 😵

Even if your looking for a cheap option near the airport DO NOT BOOK HERE, spend the extra £10 and stay at an hotel. Now for the cleanliness. 0/10 this was actually.an helath hazard the bedsheet jad been changed besides that the room hasnt been cleaned for at least 20 years. Id rate it 0 stars if possible, I slept in my clothes on top of a coat. Absolutely Horrid. The pictures are a far far cry from the reality.

I booked a guest room but after arriving at the property an hour and a half later, the contact number I was given is turned off, and there is no one around. I’m stranded on the road at midnight.

Fake Pictures of Rooms...avoid hotels.com

The picture of the rooms are fake, rooms were dirty, smelly and not fit for humans. I would not recommend anyone to use UK.hotels.com as you can't contact any once you have paid the money. I have sent my reviews of UK.hotels.com to outlets to advise not to use your service. I shall be doing more once I get back from my holiday.

This is self check in place and I didn’t know that as on my email about check in details it was answered with guess house names. So had really big problem finding place then arrived with no code for key safe box. Place overall was mess full of cabin crew yungsters partying, fair enough they were helpful as they contacted landlord so I got a room key. I received email with check in details next day…

We booked this through hotels.com and got a confirmation and pre paid but when we turned up and eventually found someone they said they don’t have a room as we have rented it out for a long stay - no sorry no gift of compensation

We arrived in the night to find a damp room with damp, dirty sheets (hair in the bed, terrible smell on sheets etc), leaks from radiator running right across the floor, bathroom floor covered in human and animal hair. Someone had sprayed some cheap spray in the room, that was all the cleaning done. There was a communal kitchen full of dirty washing up, a table with alcohol and cigarettes butts etc.. I was with my wife and children at 1am and we had to leave, no one could sleep there, and we are not fussy! Outside were broken rotting old cars like something out of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre! The only place we could get a room that night having relied on Expedia to ensure a minimum quality was the Radisson which cost £256! This place should be struck off immediately. We would love to get our money back and something towards the hotel room we had to pay for. Really hope to hear from you. Best regards, Henry

Not suitable for young families especially. The building smelt of cigarette smoke, as the cleaners were smoking in the property. The room was not made for us and one duvet had blood staines on it. The room was right next to the laundry room that had spinning machines keeping us awake until midnight. Very loud as shared property. People coming down to kitchen at all hours. The people on the phone were helpful and apologetic and got us clean sheets and new duvet cover but it was a very unsettling experience with very little sleep.

Filthy, disgusting place

This was the worst place I have ever encountered. Drug taking and filth. Nothing like the photos and does not align with the reviews. Arrived at 2am to an absolute disaster with 3 children in a dark area did not feel safe absolutely do not stay here Hotels.com you need to do better when places like this let down your customers

This place was not even findable. We rocked up to a place that appeared to be the place we booked and they asked us for £70 to stay. The place was filthy. We were told we couldn’t use the kitchen the tv didn’t work
