A great little hide-away in a beautiful village. We used it as a base for climbing Snowdon so the swimming pool was very welcomed on a hot day after climbing a mountain.

Did not actually stay in the Hotel but in one of the lodges behind Hotel which is ground floor level . Bathroom exceptionally clean . Bedroom clean and would benefit an upgrade . Anxious about leaving window open overnight as on ground level so felt quite stuffy at night . Full WelshBreakfast very good and served hot . Staff very pleasant . The room was clean and plenty of towels. WiFi wasn’t good in the room but very good in the bar. Breakfast was average, would have liked more selection in the “bakery section” maybe a bagel, crumpets, crusty bloomer. Fruit selection was lacking too. Swimming pool and facilities surrounding it were clean but dated but we had a good time
