The room was comfortable and spacious. Me and my roommate weren't shuffling past each other. But the breakfast really sets the experience apart from other hotels. Delicious meals and yet familiar as an American.

Travelled solo as an invisibly disabled woman for a trip to Berlin. Staff: amazing and so friendly, from helping me sort a charger converter emergency, to assisting with laundry. Room: a favourite on my trip for being able to cook small meals. Grocery store is about an 8 minute walk, well placed. Bed comfortable, climate control reasonable, strong shower Accessibility - no issues, elevator to floor, short walk from S Bahn major hub. Area: reasonably safe feeling, great Asian place nearby, also late night burger place if snacky. Shopping place around corner is fantastic to stock unit and also has charger converters in electronics store if yours gives up the ghost like mine did. Transit to main tourist areas via train in about 20-25 minutes, same to airport. Very handy!

Very modern property in a great location just a few minutes walk from Ostkreuz station which has direct trains both to the airport and the city centre. There’s also a nice lake very close by which seemed good to walk around. Friendly and helpful staff who let me check in a bit earlier than the official time so I could drop off my bag and go sightseeing. The hotel is quiet and I got a very good night’s sleep. Facilities in the room were fine for what I needed on a city break - it included a small kitchenette which I didn’t use but would be helpful for people on longer stays I guess. Great price paid too. I’d definitely recommend.

Room was clean but towels needed changing. stains in bed cushions . Which staff were happy to change. Sound prodding triple glazed glass meant a good night sleep as property is on a main road. Behind the property is an amazing waterfront space . My partner and I ran along it, it was lovely and peaceful! I heard the property is near a famous club which I think we passed on our run! Overall a good stay and worth the money! Breakfast options could be more varied. Great transport links.

I stayed here recently and had a very mixed experience. Th location being close to subway stations and the river is good. On my first night at the hotel the property suffered a water leak or other similar plumbing issue which meant that my room had no hot or cold running water. These things happen but I found the staff to be nonchalant about the whole thing. Drinking water was no supplied and no information was shared about when water supplies would be reconnected or where to find alternative shower and toilet facilities. The water was out in my room for about 12 hours. These things happen sometimes but I would expect the staff to be more proactive in communications and offering support and water supplies. The hotel also does not have air conditioning. My room was hot and even though I managed to open a window the location of the hotel beside a busy road meant for a noisy night’s sleep. Not ideal.

Even though this hotel is seemingly outside the main Berlin 'City', I assure that's a good thing. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. You're close to the train and trams, you're close to a really cool boho part of town that's lively and diverse.. close as in a 10-15 min walk. I was out walking very late (coz I got into Berghain.. yeh.. I know. I'm cool now) and I never felt unsafe. Plus you're about a 3 minute walk an awesome 24hr doner kebab van. Great value, good comfort and lovely staff. Perfect.

Would not recommend staying here.

Overall, I think this is an overpriced place and not that clean. My room was on the main road so it was noisy throughout the day if you like to have the window open (there is no air conditioning, so it can get warm if it is not open). There is currently construction going on so it can get noisy because of that and a bit dusty (apparently there has been construction going on for a bit). In terms of cleanliness, at one point I had a fly infestation by my bed, the sheets were stained and the towels smelled funny. The rooms were not cleaned completely when requested and one morning there was no water running, then it took around an hour to come back up again (this was not communicated to us, I had to go to reception to ask what happened). There was one lady at the reception who was very very lovely, but one guy who was not that patient and made my check in and check out feel very rushed. In terms of transport, it's very close to the train station (also about 15 minutes or so away from the airport by train). If you don't mind being a little further out from the central areas then this place is ok. If you do, I'd recommend going a little closer to town. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it. I'd give it a total of 3/10.

Clean and big room with a cute kitchenette with utensils, except washing up liquid and sponge so I had to get that myself. There's a dishwasher and tablets but I only used 1 mug and plate. Walking distance to main train station and 15 minutes to small shopping complex. No air conditioning or fan, it was still quite hot in early September. Towels are becoming thin. I liked it here and would stay again
