Very strange property with no front desk and complicated check in. Thankfully someone was on site to help but very difficult to find. Once settled in it was ok. Area not great but convenient for Tempelhof

The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillow was probably the worst pillow I’ve ever used. Room is hot and unable to use the ceiling fan that is in the room. You can open the window but as soon as 0800 am hits, the alley way becomes very noisy. Trying to find where we were supposed to park was ridiculous, when we did find it later when we no longer needed it, we realized there were vehicles blocking access previously and wouldn’t have been able to use the parking spot regardless.

So so, OK

The check-in was unnecessarily difficult as from the street the was little indication that there was a hotel behind the industrial doors. We were lucky with our room, the other rooms would have been unacceptable (no privacy). The fan was broken but they did replace. This was more like an AirBnB. The cleaning guy was nice and helpful. Pretty good location but we wouldn’t stay here again. Hated the virtual concierge.

Strange little urban haven.

Loved the unique style and the curiously urban entrance. Above all though, it was so, so, quite fit such a city location. Some human interaction might have been a bonus but I have to say I'll almost certainly be returning.

The rooms are basic, but clean. Because they are inside a courtyard, they are quiet - no street noise. Better to request a room not on the first floor, as those can be looked into from the courtyard and so you have to keep the drapes closed to have privacy.

Very happy with our stay at Cinderella. It was like a charming little oasis in a very busy area. Room was comfortable and very conveniently located. We were able to walk or subway everywhere and tons of great dining options right around us. Thoroughly enjoyable.

My partner and I selected this hotel due to the price and location. This is not a hotel with a reception, it's rooms located off the main street. It was easy to find, and information and response from the staff was excellent. The room was spacious and clean on arrival, great location anf very quiet at night. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely book again if we were back in Berlin. Thanks

Even though the this is advertised as a hotel, it is not. These are basically "hotel" rooms in a courtyard off the street. There is no reception, no breakfast. This place is a max of 4 rooms (let it be more) in an apartment block facing the courtyard. I believe this is a large apartment that was turned into a few hotel rooms. The room was okay. The ventilator made low noise.

Quiet room in very cool former chocolate factory

Lovely room in a slightly unconventional setting of a former chocolate factory. The neighborhood is amazing and the room very quite which is a plus in Berlin.

The room we got - number 8 - was not like pictured at all. It was very small, no exposed brick. Courtyard was lit all night and window to the courtyard had no blackout curtains so the room was bright as day all night. Location was excellent though and extremely safe. Bed pretty comfortable.

Fawlty Towers!

The room was comfortable, and pretty newly renovated. The location is in a quiet courtyard, set back from the busy road. But, don't go if you are from the UK. The power points in our room won't accept UK plugs with adapters. These are the same adapters I have used in other German hotels. We tried five different adapters. There's a problem with the sockets. I mentioned this to the manager, and his response was "This is a German hotel, and as long as German people's appliances work, that is all that matters." There's a clear implication here for Brits. Don't come. I also mentioned that our room hadn't been cleaned, and he simply shrugged and said that they didn't have a cleaner every day. On arrival, we needed some help, so rang the number given (as there's nobody on site), but there was no answer, no answering machine even, and nobody rang back. I said to the manager that we weren't complaining, as this was at the end of our stay, but thought it would be helpful to give him some feedback. He responded that he would give me feedback, and basically told me to get lost. Really, Basil Fawlty is alive and well, and living in Berlin. Such a shame, really, that it could be a good hotel, but it's so terribly, terribly badly run
