Great Location and Home

Fall Getaway

Monica has a beautiful home right on Lake Superior. There was everything we needed to make family meals. The beds were very comfy,and the home was immaculate. Would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Home, Wonderful Weekend

In town for a family wedding. This property was amazing. Spotless, well appointed, comfortable and the views incredible. Excellent communication from the host Monica. Only negative was with all the wedding events, we were not able to fully enjoy the property. Would love to come again. Thank you!

Summer in Bayfield

This is the perfect location for Bayfield! Private dock, <5 minutes from town, all the native wildlife. The pool table is fantastic and a great activity for 20 somethings and their parents.

Beautiful and Relaxing Property

Stunning views, clean house, relaxing atmosphere! Monica was wonderful to work with and the house had everything we needed (including super comfy beds). We absolutely loved our stay here! The kids fished, played pool, played piano and loved being able to have campfires while relaxing in the hammocks. A perfect getaway spot to relax and regroup away from the regular routines and chaos of schedules.

Very nice place

5 of us really enjoyed our 4-night stay here. The place was clean and well-furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. The owner was friendly, helpful, responsive. One of us uses a wheelchair or a walker, and was generally quite comfortable. I discovered I could get her up the one step onto the porch and into the house by tipping and lifting the wheelchair. Some of the carpets slowed her down a little, but she enjoyed the stay. Great to have the lake and Madeleine Island right out the windows.

LADIES TRIP

This house was amazing!! Most comfortable house we have ever stayed in and we have been doing our annual trip for 11 years. From renting to leaving it was just perfect. If I am ever in the area again I hope it is available.

Amazing property

Beautiful place, the king bed was so comfortable. Close to town. Very clean, had everything we needed. Lots of room for family in every room, massive deck looking over Lake Superior. Host was wonderful and very attentive! Will be back!

Amazing Lake House!

My husband, 2 teens, and I had a wonderful time at Bay Top Lake House! The home and land is beautiful and unique. The view of the lake is fantastic. The yard has a firepit with chairs and plenty of wood, plus a private dock. There is also a very large deck with a table/chairs. The house is huge, with a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable furniture and beds. The living room has a piano and a record player. The basement has a bar, a pool table, and a player piano! The location is great, a very short drive to Bayfield for shopping, restaurants, or getting on the ferry to Madeline Island. We hope to be back, highly recommend!

Excellent stay at Bay Top Lake House

My husband, son and I just returned from an excellent 4 night stay at Bay Top Lake House. The property is stunning with a wonderful lake view. The house if fully stocked with everything you will need. We enjoyed the dock, water view, deck, pool table and fire pit. We also enjoyed the charming town of Bayfield and the surrounding area. Cute shops, hiking, Apostle boat cruise, orchard visits and restaurants are all within an easy short drive from the home. Monica is a pleasure to work with very responsive to any questions you may have. We highly recommend staying at Bay Top Lake House. You will be delighted with every aspect of the visit.

Wonderful stay at Bay Top for family of 5

Our family had a great stay at Bay Top. Our kids (8, 6, 4) slept downstairs and we slept in the master on the main level. We were nervous about the arrangement initially but it worked out fine. Monica’s property and home are beautiful, the pictures on the listing don’t actually do it justice. Waking up to the sun rising over Lake Superior was amazing and we loved having access to the lake for fishing right there on the property. The house is well appointed and the kitchen is fully equipped. Every room is decorated beautifully. The house is a 2 minute drive to downtown Bayfield - not really walkable though because of the highway. Parking was never an issue and we enjoyed exploring the shops and supporting several of the small businesses in town. We will be back and we look forward to staying at Bay Top again. Thanks Monica!

Amazing home

We had an amazing stay and 10/10 would recommend. The property is private and secluded. The main deck had phenomenal views of Lake Superior. We spent a lot of time sitting out looking at the water. Inside the home is very charming, beautifully decorated, yet homey and comfortable. Extremely well taken care of. We would absolutely stay again!

Perfect lake home. Perfect vacation.

This could not have been a better fit for our first trip to Bayfield. The pictures of Bay Top Lake House captured my imagination on my initial search of the area. I returned to the listing again and again before booking. Even with such inflated expectations, it was more than we ever hoped. The pictures are accurate but don’t do justice to the views from every window, the scope of the deck, or the comforts inside. We love to cook on vacation and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms were delightfully comfortable and one son even did well on the pullout couch. (That TV room has a door and gave him as much privacy as the bedrooms.) Our hostess was available by call or text and super helpful with any issue. The convenient short drive to Bayfield makes it ideal for catching the ferry to Madeleine Island, sailing trips from the harbor or walking the town for shops and restaurants. Perfect!

Coolest house in Bayfield

The Big Top House was the perfect getaway for my family! Very unique house with lots of room and the most beautiful view. We will definitely be back! Trout jumping in the water, nice fire pit, grill, pool table and beautiful deck. Also very close to town! Very clean and it felt like home. Kudos to Monica the owner for personally welcoming us to her home with communication.
