Very cosy (it was November) and comfortable. There wasn't much storage space in the room - some drawers would have been useful. Cooked breakfast was a buffet - individually prepared items (e.g. scramled eggs and toast) would have been more tempting The do-it-yourself toaster was very hit and miss.

The hotel was very clean and in good condition given the recent refurbishment. Staff were very attentive. We didn’t have a dinner booking at the hotel restaurant but they managed to find us a space. The restaurant food and drinks were excellent Would definitely recommend and stay again.
