Photos were a bait and switch. The door hits the bed and only opens 2/3 of the way. They gave me another room that the door opened but the bed was a children's twin pushed in the corner. The bathroom sink is halfway in front of the toilet. The worst experience I have ever had. I left the next day was 7 day) and they have not given me any credit

So much noise going through the room..

Rooms look a lot better in pictures! Our room was dull and basic, with a terrible view out the window of a wall 6 feet away. Beds were comfortable, but the NOISE in this room was unbelievable. Every flush or shower or use of a sink it seems in the hotel rattles through this room, like the pipes go right through the room. All night clanking, gurgling, water rushing etc, again in the morning when we woke. Very hard to relax and sleep listening to that all night. And the 'rainfall' shower head was totally broken so the little amount of water that came out of it just went straight out the opening to the shower and all over the floor. Staff were pleasant and breakfast was ok, but I won't be staying there again if all rooms are as noisy as that one.

Serene little Retreat.

A two night stay prior to flying back to blighty. Wanted to be on a high-up floor - but was assigned floor one. Was better than a few days ago when I was here, as the window in the room had a 'genuine' view. So there was natural light during the day, however I checked-in in the evening and I was using a small cycle light torch to unpack - as the lighting in the room was that bad - there really is no excuse for that. Not a lot of places to set anything down either, and the lack of power sockets was evident. However .. A clean room - exceptionally quiet - even with the window open, and it was a street view. Lovely shower set up with ample room for movement. Gorgeous bed with immaculate bedding. Clean Fridge The staff were also very helpful. Supermarket very close. I would use this hotel again.

Serene little Retreat

Room was small - which I was aware of when booking. Poor light though - needed artificial light on at all times. Did have a small window - but the view was an internal wall - so only minimal natural light. However, a quiet, clean room, lovely beds with fresh clean linen. Also a fridge in the room, which given the temperatures outside (very warm) - were a godsend. Close to a Supermarket. I would stay at this hotel again.

For a 2 star hotel, Casual Colors does the job very well : spacious room, decent breakfast, helpful staff. The area of the hotel is residential and you get a vibe of Barcelona outside the touristic buzz which was nice. There are shops and cafes right outside the hotel. Area offers also a good selection of restaurants to dine out. This is while you are 15mins by transport of the city centre and the main attractions.We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Casual Colors hotel!

Got the basement room

Good location with a lot of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Our room (#1) was in a kind of basement, without windows. AC wasn't working yet (end of April) even if it was 27C outside. Shower had courtains so the entire bathroom floor got wet.

Great hotel, ask for a room away from the elevator

Everything about the hotel was great, location, cost, cleanliness and facilities for expectation was great. My only issue was my room was right on the elevator shaft and the walls was not sound proofed or insulated enough and the lift kept waking me up throughout the night.
