Such a friendly, perfectly clean, well located place to stay. Garden area in back with picnic tables, corn hole boards, fire pits, gazebo and flowers is a delightful surprise. Folks running the place could not be nicer. Walking distance to grocery store restaurants and a beautiful mile long public path along the river.

The room was pristine and well cared for. It was an extremely comfortable spot for day trips in the area. The staff were very kind and personable. I only regret not taking the time to use the area in the back for a fire in the evening!

Helpful and accommodating staff, very clean room, very comfy bed and quiet. This is a great place to stay if you want access to Acadia and all the beautiful Maine attractions, but would like some quiet time. There are a couple fabulous restaurants in Bucksport. Including a grade A smoothie, protein shake and breakfast sandwich shop. Very friendly people!

I appreciate it being pet-friendly. I didn't have a dog with me this time, but it may be a possibility in the future. The desk clerk was very friendly & helpful regarding places to eat. The only thing I didn't like was the rail in the shower at elbow level; I hit it a couple times...ouch! Other than that, it was great!
