Excellent stay at the hotel. I was in Ayr for a job interview. On the last night I asked the lady at reception if there was anywhere to store my case as my interview was at 0830 the next morning and it might be tight to meet the 10.30am check out. She gave me a late checkout with no charge. I really appreciated it. I ate at the hotel on the 2 nights I was there and the service was amazing, really nice atmosphere, food was served quickly and was piping hot. If I’m ever in Ayr again (I didn’t get the job!) Horizon will be where I stay!

This was stated as a 3 star hotel, i would give it a 4 star. The breakfast and evening meal were excellent and very tasty. They kindly moved us from a room with shower to a room with a bath. Lovely fluffy towels. This hotel is very good value for money. There is only about 6 parking spaces at the hotel,although you are Allowed to park in the carpark across the road free of charge.

Our stay at this hotel ( staff/ cleanliness/ food ) was excellent in every way EXCEPT the room. Room 7 was cramped with old worn out furniture. The 'shower room' was the smallest I have ever seen. Sitting on the toilet your head is in the WHB!!!!! Iron marks on the carpet.......

A restful stay with very good evening meal.

I had a good stay at the hotel but the room I was in needs some decoration as there was a stain on the carpet and walls need a paint. My evening meal was very good and would recommend m.
