Can't fault the lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was as expected but lacked gluten free options. Rooms were in need of refurbishment but beds were comfy and great tv options along with good and free WiFi. Also plenty of free parking for guests.

Breakfast was very good all nice and hot. Unfortunately the room still had rubbish in it from previous occupants. The shower had more water coming out the bath taps than the shower head! All staff were very helpful and friendly

Food was good, both breakfast and in the restaurant. The grounds were lovely to walk around. Old listed building with old rooms... it is a classic "charming" hotel... which means, a bit old, a bit tired.. The room was basic and comfortable. The gym is good but the pool has to be prebooked which is not helpful. Was not told the restaurant closed at 08.30 so did not eat, which made me grumpy!
