Book Motel 6 rooms in International Drive District

"Booked this property at the very last minute. Photos looked good. We gave it a try for a two night stay. Upon arriving to check in lobby was clean and very bright. One attendant for the hotel check in desk. The check in desk is too modern, in my opinion. No Privacy between hotel guest when checking in/out. After checking in the hotel desk attendant asked if I needed help with our suitcases. I declined, then she went on to say there are NO ELEVATORS! We didn’t feel it was easy to access the rooms with only 2 access stairways. I wished we would have known this prior to booking. Also, the phone & TV didn’t work! The room was very clean & A/C worked great. I tried to call the front desk for an iron that’s when we found out nothing was working. The window seals were broken. The renovation of this old hotel was not completed to the fullest. Lots needs to be done. However, the pool was very nice, but too cold and windy to use. Parking lot needs work and exposed pvc pipes and ditches. Someone could get hurt if they weren’t paying attention. I have to say we had comfortable beds and very nice bedding for a good night sleep. B & B you need a few more staff members and finish up the renovation w/windows and doors, and provide an elevator and make sure your TV and phones work. I give this place a. 6 out of 10. "

"We stayed in building 6. One of the elevators were out of order so only 1 was working. We were always waiting on the elevators for at least 10 minutes. The tv in our room did not have signal so we could never use it. There was a weird smell in the hallways. The carpet in the hallway had a bad stain and for the 3 days that we were there, it was never vacuumed; I saw the same dirt and lint. But the staff were very friendly. Front desk was always super helpful and pleasant. Pool was nice too. Lifeguards on duty were great at their job making sure everyone was grand following rules but didn’t act like a jerk when kids weren’t following rules. Public washrooms were gross "
