Small cozy cabin, as it was just my wife and I, so we booked one that made sense. Nice location, clean, farm fresh eggs were delicious, about 35 mins from downtown Auckland and airport depending on traffic! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we came back to the area!!

Wow is the first word that came to mind when we walked through the front door. What an amazing place - so cosy, large, clean, immaculate, superb decor, friendly owner who responds to communication super quick, great location for an "on the way home" stop to recharge the batteries, huge bedroom, delicious and ample choices for the free breakfast, cosy seating in the main lounge, large kitchen with all you need, beautiful bathroom with huge bath and corner walk-in shower. I can't say enough - but for sure, we will be back if we ever need to stop in between home and Auckland. Did not get a chance to use the spa (arrived late) but another luxury at this beautiful place. I almost didn't want to write this - hate to have it seen by too many people who might then book this place out when we need it again! Thank you Robert - this accommodation is a credit to you. Thank you and so amazing! A treasure we will never forget.

This property was fabulous!!! The area suited us perfectly for where we needed to be. A short drive to Pukekoe for shopping. The breakfast was generous with option to cook or have continental. We loved the quietness and the convenience to the motorway. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. Easy check in, quiet and comfortable. The only thing I would change are the sheets that were crisp and clean but very noisy to sleep in. They are a bit like cardboard. Also some normal bread and butter knives added to the cutlery. Hard to butter bread with a pointed knife. We have stayed here with our two Dachshund's now and it is a great place to stay thank you.

The breakfast and supplies where over and above what was expected. Everything was immaculately presented, quality linens, comfortable bed, convenient and pretty rural location. I wish we had booked for more than 1 night and we would definitely recommend Heaven's rest B&B. We staying in a cabin, the house looked lovely too.

Perfect farm meets city experience

I have stayed here a few times when working in the area and it is one of my favorite places to stay! The kiwi cabin is lovely- it has a real homely feel to it and it is a bonus getting to see the farm animals. The hosts are fantastic and leave you plenty of beautiful foods for breakfast and condiments for cooking. I would absolutely recommend

Heavens rest 😇

We only stayed 1 night , lovely setting, quiet,lovely outside sitting and eating area. Inside everything you would need with the added bonus of produce in the fridge for breakfast. Bedroom compact but very comfortable. Bathroom, very good pressure on the shower and plenty of hot water. Our only gripe was there was no instructions for the AC/ heating( we are unaccustomed to AC) which we needed for the chilly morning. All in all a very good stay.

This place honored its name fully... its trully a restful place like send from heaven. My husband and I stayed there for two days at the beginning of our NZ trip and we have been saying how its been the best place. It was spotless, the breakfast was good and very quiet. I highly recommend 👌

Our second stay at this fabulous property which is set in secluded grounds and surrounded by farmland. This time we stayed in the Kakapo wing, with its large bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with shower and bath. Very clean throughout, and the bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a "help yourself" in the lovely lounge/kitchen with areas in the fridge dedicated to each of the rooms. Large choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, fresh orange juice and various fruits. The rooms overlook a paddock with a cow and a couple of goats.
