Room was clean, but we found a hair in the bed, so could be a little cleaner. Bathroom was spotless and beautiful! Terry, the woman at the front, was wonderful to talk to and very understanding to us getting in late on check in. We ended up checking out a little late and they had no problem with it too. Taking into consideration that the town is still pretty quiet and much is still not open due to Hurricane Helene, we had a pleasant stay. It was our anniversary weekend and I thought I had booked a room with a hot tub, but had not. The place was empty so I asked for an upgrade to the hot tub room, the website said there was availability and of course I was happy to pay any fees. The management said the room was booked for the weekend. I never saw any other cars come onto the property and the only one that did stayed 2 doors down from us in a room similar to ours. It’s a place to sleep. Nothing more or less. No in room coffee, microwave, or even a hair dryer. Pretty but very basic

Peaceful, tranquil, they have a small library which is a huge plus to me. I would definitely go again. Loved the waterfall, pool was clean and accessible. Fresh coffee on the front porch to set out and enjoy the setting was a major plus for us and let’s not forget the bears! Super enjoyable
