This was not our favourite place to stay. The building itself felt run down and in need of maintenance. The pictures depicted online did not feel like an accurate representation of the hotel itself. The air conditioning unit in our room was exceptionally loud all night and as a result, no one slept well. Overall, quite disappointed and wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel was nice however the elevator wasn’t working and was a problem for some guests. Bathroom was small and dated however the shower was very good. You could hear the people in the next room talking. There was nowhere to have lunch on the property or a drink in the afternoon sitting on the patio. The view from the hotel was beautiful and worth the stay.

The property was an oasis. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and do the Pines credit. The only thing is that live music happening just under room was very loud, so early bedtime was not an option. They need to let guests know this, and what time it finishes. Breakfast was excellent, making up for that.

Disappointed, was expecting more for the price. Rooms very dated, pillows very uncomfortable. Service in restaurant was good but the menu is quite limited and in my opinion didn’t live up to Tastes of Nova Scotia standards. Deserts were underwhelming apart from the chocolate mousse which was delicious. Meal times were very busy especially breakfast. Breakfast itself was very good.

This is an excellent Resort. It is very dated however, everything worked and it was really clean. Staff were excellent. I highly recommend a stay here. It has a charm you will never get at a new resort.

Bygone era charm with Candian friendly service.

Digby pines has an air of a bygone era. The hotel decor is very dated but in a way that kind of added to its charm. The main selling point is the staff. Incredible service. We particularly liked Allan who was very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the grounds are pretty. If you are into vintage shower fittings and taps, you are in for a treat.
