This property is beautiful. We loved spending 2 quiet nights here with our son and daughter in law and 2 grand babies. This house is very well stocked. We loved the general store on the island. It is a great place for a quiet and simple retreat.

Such a beautiful home and setting. Spectacular views! The owner reached out before our day of arrival. So friendly and welcoming. I cannot think of one thing to improve! My daughters and enjoyed our mom/daughter getaway and are already talking about doing it at this home again next year. Spectacular!

Great place for a weekend away

We stayed here for a Friendsgiving and had a great time. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and had everything we needed. The deck was a nice place to enjoy a morning coffee. We enjoyed the island, especially the hiking and general store. We would be happy to return for another stay in the future!

Beautiful home a quick ferry ride from Anacortes

Loved the property. Very clean with nice finishes and amenities. Beach access was amazing with a treasure trove of things to explore. The ferry ride over was quick and easy, felt just like being in Anacortes.

Fantastic House!

Don't hesitate to rent this one - it was spotless, had a beautiful view, and was very peaceful. The owner has the house well-stocked and the house is wonderfully decorated, open and airy. I'd rent it again!

The Rosebud beach house was perfect! Great location on Guemes. We were there on the island for a wedding that was at a family member’s beach house down the road that we have stayed at several times over the years. The house had all the amenities that you need and a great view of anacortes. It worked great as another hangout spot for friends and family that were there for the wedding. Don, the owner was great to work with and had the place ready to go! We are looking at getting the place again for next summer for a small family reunion.

Amazing home, beautiful spot!!!! Loved the charming ferry ride to and from Guemes after our daily outings to the San Juans. We wanted for nothing…the home had it all!!!!! We especially enjoyed our morning coffee out on the bench overlooking the sound.

Great Family Memories!

Our family enjoyed the peaceful setting, each day we walked the rocky beach . Enjoyed the porch overlooking the water - nightly dates with a harbor seal and occasionally the deer showed up too! Kitchen was lovely and enjoyed our morning breakfast and we also made dinner for our parents one night. Walking to the General Store we saw an eagle !

Fantastic House!

Beautiful home on Guemes Island, close to the ferry. We rent a lot of homes and this one was really nice. Well stocked with linens and bedding, and even some of the basics other homes have never supplied. Great view, home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Don’t hesitate if you’re considering this one 😊

We had a magical stay at the Rosebud - the house and view exceeded our expectations.

Our stay was an adult family long-weekend getaway with most attendees being unfamiliar with Guemes Island. Upon our arrival the house was beyond our expectations; the pictures were accurate but couldn’t fully convey the quality of the house and the beauty of the view. We were impressed (even measured the master shower to see if our house could be redone to something similar). Thank you for helping make our family getaway over-the-moon spectacular!

Perfect Girls Weekend on Guemes Island

This home was the perfect place for a girls weekend! There were 7 of us in total and by doubling up on the beds, we all had comfortable places to sleep. The kitchen was clean, well stocked, and great for cooking together. We ate dinners together at the large dining room table and breakfasts out on the deck with a view of the water. The easy access to the beach was heavenly, and we took out our paddle boards out a couple of times. We played board games, watched movies, and explored the island together. We were able to walk from the house to the Guemes Mountain trailhead, which is a beautiful hike with incredible views at the top. The ferry terminal and General Store are about 1.7 miles away and within walking distance as well. We loved staying in the beautiful home and definitely plan to come back!

Great place to stay. House very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed.Weather was a lil rainy but we were prepared for that. House had big umbrellas, walking sticks and small cooler for our day trips. The Ferry was something we needed to get acclaimated to, so word of advice; check Ferry Schedules 18 hours in advance.Location of home very quiet. Eagle watching in tree next door! Had time for to play cards, enjoy family dinners and terrific company. Definately worth considering on your next trip to San Juan Islands.

Inviting home with beautiful views

We rented this home for a long weekend getaway to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The home was very clean and inviting. The main area of the home was spacious and made for a great hang out space for 5 of us - definitely large enough for more. Large windows facing the water made it so we could enjoy the view inside and out. Beach access was excellent and we watched beautiful sunsets each night from the deck and beach. The yard was huge and made for an awesome place to throw a frisbee around. Guemes Mountain Trail was only a half mile walk from the property. Owner was very kind and helpful! We would 100% stay again! Thank you!

Wonderful Stay!

Rosebud is a gracious, comfortable, welcoming home with a gorgeous view night and day. Perfect for a family getaway with a well equipped kitchen and large dining table. There were just three adults in our family group, each with our own bedroom. It was early December and cold so we appreciated the fireplace with remote and the long table to work a puzzle and play games, and the large screen t.v. for streaming sappy Christmas movies! We fell in love with Guemes Island, enjoying the people who were so friendly on the timely self-driving Artist’s Studio Tour, that also gave us a tour of the entire island. The General Store, its restaurant, bakery and grocery store are where it all happens. The owners and all the people there were super friendly and we don’t know how our stay could have been any better.

Great place!

We stayed with our son and daughter in law for the thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful and we saw sea otters playing in the harbor out our windows. There is a hike up the mountain just a short distance away and it is breathtaking. The mountain ranges and views to the water are stunning. We loved our stay and would go again without hesitation.

Great family home with convenient beach access

This home has a great deck and is very comfortable for a small group. We really enjoyed staying there and found the home well-stocked for cooking. The layout is great and easy to manage. Quiet and pleasant location with a good beach for kids!
