The place itself is nice and the lakeview is great. However, we were disappointed with our stay. The hot tub was filthy on arrival, and while the host initially acknowledged the issue and promised it would be addressed the next day, nothing was ever done. As a consequence, we were never able to use it, which was extremely disappointing, especially given the high price we paid. The cottage itself was also not very clean, which was frustrating given that the facilities themselves were otherwise good. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-through and the poor cleanliness left a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this property until these issues are properly addressed.

We did have a great time but we were making the best of the situation. The living/dinning area, the kitchen and the upstairs bedrooms were great. However, the main floor bedroom had a moldy odor due to a leaky faucet in the laundry room (clearly a long standing issue). Emailed the owner, no response, it was only when the cleaning staff came to get supplies for another cabin that we were able to get the water to that room shut off. So, washer couldn't be used. Also, the deck was not cleaned, we had to sweep it up and clean the furniture to be able to use it. The BBQ couldn't be used, it was quite rusted, and we had to purchase a portable BBQ for the week. The fire pit was also in a state of decay. We didn't feel safe using it. The upstairs bathroom had visible mold in the shower. Not enough paddles for all the kayaks/canoe. In terms of communication, it was bare minimum! Only ever communicated for check in and out. Anything else, nothing. The cabin next to us also had this issue. Wifi cut-off and they couldn't get ahold of anyone (they were working). The router for the wifi for all 5 cabins is in the main house. I wouldn't recommend this cottage to a friend. Online picture look nice, however the reality does not match the listing.

we had a great holiday with the family coming from Europe. It's a lovely place, perfect location, nice view, nice renovated house. But we were a bit surprised about the cleaning. The kitchen was not very clean, we didn't use the dishwasher because it was dirty (pieces of glass in it and dirty filters. We also cleaned the terraces and the kitchen cupboards. It would look much better if the garden and the area around the house was better maintained. But it's a beautiful place. `

Great relaxing cottage for getaway

This property a great choice for a nice getaway with group of friends or with your family. It offers ample space and an excellent sized kitchen for cooking, and plenty of kitchen accessories and supplies for your cooking needs. Being by the lake was the highlight of this property. They had kayaks and a canoe for use. Would come back again !
