Summary:
Hiding in the rain forest is this high set home with 3 bedrooms, open plan living room, dining & kitchen. Glamping style holiday home will bring you back with nature.
Large glass sliding doors open onto the balcony to bring the outside in.
1770 Tree House is a rustic home, but it is comfortable for those seaside holiday memories. You are within natures living room! This property is unique and not for everyone ! Please read the description carefully before booking.

The Space:
1 Queen, 1 Double and 2 sets of bunks, Laundry and bathroom. Fans in all rooms. Gas Cooking, linen provided and fully self contained kitchen. The oven and cook top requires a gas lighter (Supplied) to light.
Easy walk to the 1770 Foreshore. The driveway is steep with room to back around to drive down again.
BBQ around the back, Fridge is cold, Enjoy your holiday !

Guest Access:
Arriving before dark and coming in your own vehicle is recommended. Walk to the 1770 Tree bar for a sunset drink or the 1770 mariner for your water pleasure there is also a cafe for your morning coffee.
Please be advised we have solar lights along the driveway we would appreciate them not being moved.

The Neighborhood:
As you are in a residential area, loud noises should be at a minimum.
Rubbish Collection day is Monday evening for a Tuesday morning pick up. Please leave seafood scraps in Freezer until bin night. Do not place them in the residential bin prior. There are purpose bins at the 1770 Mariner carpark to dispose of your seafood also.

Other Things to Note:
As you are exposed to the elements in this house, no fly screens, please put all food away in plastic food containers found in the cupboard, or bring your own. Best to keep lights off inside at night to keep bugs out. Keep bathroom door closed at all times. Protected Native bush rats (Antechinus) live in our area
Each arrival has toilet paper and washing up detergent, dishcloth and scourer pad for arrival. We do not have an endless supply of these products please buy/bring your own for your stay. Saltnpepper and oil can be in the house, however other guests will sometimes take them home with them !

We used the property as a base to explore the local area, including a couple of off shore fishing trips; it is simple accommodation that has everything you need and a real charm to it. Noting any decent size boat needs to be parked at the bottom of the driveway on the falter section before it gets steeper but that works well.Overall we loved it and found Chrissy to be really helpful and an excellent host

Was as advertised and basic but comfortable. Be hugely improved by fly screens as insects can be annoying at night. We had a great time though and are booking again.

Tree house

First impression was what was advertised, rustic tree house. The overall look inside was comfortable and kitted out with everything we needed. We were upset at the filthy dining chairs which were all stained and the outdoor cane furniture was all rotted away. The driveway also is very steep and needs attention. The lovely treehouse needed some maintenance and TLC.

Glamping at its finest

We all had the best time…didn’t want to leave. The place is very simple but is clean and has everything you need and plenty of space for a family. Is in the best location in 1770. It was the perfect escape for Christmas from the city. Thank you again Chrissy!!

Look out for the drive way

Great spot and rustic feel beach house.the driveway is very dangerous and suggest parking down the bottom.my car was sliding backwards,brakes on and no steering once in a slide.needs to be cemented entire length of driveway.other than that it was a fantastic place to stay and great location.would stay again.

Relaxing and Quiet but not great for ocean views or small 2wd car access.

First impression, The driveway is steep and not very well maintained. preferable 4wd access as slippery. Inside house is Tidy and clean very relaxing with all facilities needed for glamping. The views of ocean are not very good as over grown tree's so very excluded couple streets back from ocean front.

Family get away

We had a great time at Chrissy’s Tree House at 1770. We stayed in July with 5 kids. It is close to the water, boat ramp, parks, and coffee shops. The house was clean and tidy with everything we needed. It’s small for 8 people, but well laid out, so as long as you are ok with being in each other’s space it works just fine. The driveway is “fun” when it’s damp.😁 Had a great time.

Perfect location

Basic accommodation in the tree tops of 1770, perfect location. Clean and tidy, easy to find, close to everything we needed, fit our family of 6 very comfortably. Good value for money, only negative : shower ran out of hot water after 3rd person (no one had huge long showers either) but we just had to have shorter showers.

This house is good for 4 People. For 8 people..,it’s not enough.

2 Rooms was very good. 1 Room with Bunk beds ..it’s narrow entrance. So Air circulation very less. Very hard to sleep on summer (hot day). There are 2 fans provided. But our time, one fan was not working.
