This Villa is built on the south side of the village Sellia and has a spectacular view of the Libyan Sea.It is a spacious and bright house that can host 5 people.Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a large bathroom.In one room there are twin beds,while in the master bedroom there is a double bed. Downstairs there are a fully equipped kitchen,a small bathroom, a living room with two comfortable sofas and a fireplace. You wiill enjoy your meals overlooking the sea from the large windowsThe villa facilities cater to the needs of the modern traveler, authentic and simple. In addition, is ideal for families because of the cooking facilities (kitchen,coffee machine,dishes,glasses,cups,cutlery and cooking utensils). Moreover, it is ideal for couples who want to explore Crete in a few days, but also for those who want relaxation on their holidays!!It has a fenched garden which can host your pet!! It is really close to the most beautiful beaches (about 3 km), far from busy roads and traffic but also it is 300 metres away from the centre of Sellia, with restaurants, super market, gift shops and many more.

Komfort in Panoramalage

Großzügige Unterkunft in herrlicher Panoramalage. Komplett eingerichtet mit allem was einen Aufenthalt angenehm macht, Gute Ausgangslage für zahlreiche Ausflüge. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nahegelegenen Plakias, kleiner Supermarkt für das Nötigste direkt im Ort. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Reibungsloser Checkin. Perfekte Kommunikation. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Belle maison avec une magnifique vue

L’endroit était très bien placé sur la côte sud à proximité de Plakias. La vue vraiment magnifique les photos ne mentent pas. L’hôtesse etait vraiment très prévenante et aux petits soins pour nous. La maison bien équipée spacieuse et lumineuse avec en plus la clim dans les chambres. Mille mercis pour l’accueil!

Sehr schönes Panorama

Das Quartier ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen mit wunderbarem Meerblick. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist nicht mehr die jüngste aber alles funktioniert und ist sauber. Wir hatten die Woche über starken Wind, dafür ist die exponierte Lage sicher nicht optimal und das Haus als Sommerunterkunft auch nicht unbedingt gedacht. Während der wärmeren Zeit jederzeit wieder. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Tolle Lage! Leider mit Mängeln

Für Ortsunkundige ist die Anfahrt abenteuerlich, aber so ist es halt oft vor allem im Süden Kretas. Sellia ist ein verschlafenes Nest mit wenigen aber sehr guten Restaurants und einem kleinen Supermarkt. Der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für schöne Ausflüge und entspannte Strandtage. Während der ersten Woche unseres Aufenthalts war es leider extrem windig, wie so oft in dieser Gegend , so dass wir die Terrasse, die für uns das Highlight des Hauses darstellte und den Grund dieses zu buchen, leider gar nicht nutzen konnten. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von einer entzückenden Frau empfangen, die uns alles zeigte. Im Haus stellte sich heraus, daß wir keineswegs 2 Badezimmer hatten. Im Erdgeschoß war lediglich eine Gästetoilette. Aus einem im Boden eingelassenen Abfluß roch es abends deutlich nach Fäkalien. Nachdem wir das gemeldet hatten, kam auch ein Handwerker, der aber diesbezgl. nichts unternommen hat. Wir stellten lediglich fest, dass in der Folge offenbar während unserer Abwesenheit tagsüber Toilettenreiniger in diesen Abfluß geschüttet wurde. Es roch dann extrem danach. Am vorletzten Abend war die WC-Reinigerflasche plötzlich nicht mehr da, aber der Abfluß war mit Malerkrepp zugeklebt worden. Das reguläre Wannenbad im Obergeschoß verfügte ebenfalls über eine Toilette, deren Deckel bei unserer Ankunft nur locker aufgelegt war. Da das Wasser der Toilette am 3. Tag ununterbrochen lief, haben wir dies der Verwaltung gemeldet. Der Handwerker, der dann kam, hat den Deckel befestigt und den Wasserkasten repariert. Insgesamt war der Zustand von Bädern und Küche wirklich nicht gut. Insbesondere die Küche war total abgenutzt und wahrscheinlich kann man die Oberflächen nun auch gar nicht mehr fettfrei bekommen. Der Herd war nicht sauber, der Kühl-/Gefrierschrank ebenfalls. Der Wohn-/Eßraum war wirklich in Ordnung, daß die Dekoration nicht unserem Geschmack entspracht, wußten wir ja vorher. Das Sofa war wirklich gemütlich, aber auf Kreta kuscheln wir uns nicht auf dem Sofa ein. In Anbetracht des Preises wäre eine gründliche Renovierung unbedingt fällig. Das Haus ist insgesamt sehr "abgewohnt". Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in keiner Weise. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dennoch genossen, denn wir wollten uns die Freude an dieser wunderbaren Insel nicht verderben.

Zwei traumhafte Wochen in Sellia

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alles war so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten - das sehr saubere Haus hat alles, was man braucht und dazu eine phantastische Aussicht über das Meer von der schönen Terrasse aus. Das Dorf selber ist nicht überlaufen und hat ein paar sehr schöne Tavernen. Trotz des zwischenzeitlich starken Windes haben wir einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Sellia verbracht.
