Great place if you want to pair beach and exercise with a short walk to the old city. 2 swimming pools, great gym, private entrance to beach. 30-min walk to the old city. The rooms and hallways feel old - carpets old, room doors have had their share of bumps, bathroom lighting is poor. Food is kosher and good.

Extremely Outdated and Detoriated property. Towels kept in front desk and they will not give you more than 2 per room. Hotels has a Curfew 12am if your not back from where ever you are in the city by 12 am They lock the doors . A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT

Excellent hotel near old city of Akko

Went on a trip to Israel with my son. While visiting city of Akko, stayed in this hotel. I highly recommend it. Close to city, nice access to beach and pool. Room was large and clean. Bathroom up to US standards. Breakfast buffet was excellent, but dinner was a little pricey. I would stay here again. They also have plenty of free parking.

Great location and nice staff

The location is perfect. Close to the old city and a mall. There is a very good restaurant (al-Mbarsham) within walking distance right on the beach. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful.

Roomy, accessible, great pool!

Couple traveling with car on our own bc one is handicapped. This hotel was accessible, upgraded us to a simple suite so we would have more space. The pool area is nice! Huge pool with loads of seating/lying space, very large shade cloth area, many picnic tables, good wristband system for keeping beachcombers out of the pool and gardens area. The hotel is generally a little run down but clean. They could spend a fortune remodeling but then prices would have to rise. We were content just the way it is. Wish we had another night to spend here.

hotel is ideally situated on the beach and has a wonderful grassy area for relaxing in the evenings with a view of the Mediterranean. The inside is comfortable to a European standard. Travelers used to USA hotels may find it cramped and small. the rooms are OK, the service is OK. Breakfast is ample but the atmosphere is dingy and noisy. The gym is much better than most found in Israeli hotels; however, it is very crowded.

Nice beach hotel by Akko

Well located by the beach within walking distance of the old city and downtown modern Akko. I was only there for a night and didn't avail myself of any of the hotel services other than access to the beach. Seems to be populated by well-to-do Israeli families looking for a beach vacation. Views from the room were breathtaking. Everything clean, well tended, staff nice and competent. But I only had a small taste. From an aesthetics standpoint, there are many good reasons not to have a high rise hotel along that coast, it feels wrong. But that's never stopped the Israelis.

Nice hotel, the reception is not open 24/7 which is a bit awkward. Wifi is good, and the receptionist was friendly. The room we got was specious with beautiful iew.

Very nice hotel with many features.

Excellent breakfast, room was somewhat small, but nicely designed. Shower head is low, was a bit of a problem for me as I am tall. Great exercise area, with full features.

Good central location

The hotel is on the #1 and #2 express bus lines, and by Paris Square, the base of the Carmelit subway line. "Downtown" with banks and government offices is a couple blocks east. The hotel is in a "nightlife" district; I used earplugs to block out the nearby live entertainment, and slept OK. I arrived Friday evening, and the after-hours check-in process worked OK. Not having any staff present involved a bit of finding things on my own: in January, I definitely needed a duvet, and it took me a while to find the cupboard where it was stashed. The hot water tank is on a timer, so one needs to switch it on a few minutes before hot water is desired; once it's going, there's lots of very hot water.
