I was genuinely impressed by this hotel. We checked in later in the day, and our family suite exceeded expectations. It was perfect for our trip, with exceptionally comfortable beds, high-quality bedding, plush towels, and thoughtful amenities that rivaled what you would expect from a five-star city hotel. The bathroom was immaculate and appeared to have been recently renovated, while the furnishings and décor struck the perfect balance between refined comfort and the charm of a cozy Scottish country inn. The staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant was also a highlight, offering excellent food and a full bar in a relaxed and inviting setting. I would especially recommend taking advantage of breakfast and dinner—the quality of the food and the service were outstanding. Its proximity to the river and the surrounding scenery only add to its charm—the setting looks as though it could have come straight out of A River Runs Through It. I highly recommend it and would gladly return in the future.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at this lovely little castle. The property is gorgeous and well situated between Oban and Glencoe. David, the owner, was charming and told us all about the history of the castle and the region. He has gone to great lengths to create a warm, cozy, authentic castle experience! Hope to return one day!

The room was lovely, we stayed in the Speyburn suite, roll top bath, seperate shower and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was excellent value and wonderful food. About the same price point as the bar if you have a starter and main and totally worth it. Staff were very professional, the gentleman. knew his stuff about whiskey, they even did a like packed breakfast and lunch for fishing the next day! Really recommend
