Great Hotel, only one issue was my room was like an ice box. I alerted staff and offered a solution. Hopefully there will be something in place for my next visit. This is the only reason for the 4 stars or would be 5. Food was outstanding both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely give this another go as overall was a very nice hotel

From check in to check out, all of the staff on reception, the bar and restaurant and the domestic staff could not be friendlier and more helpful. The young man on reception made sure there was a table for my friends and I in the bar and that we had a view of a television to watch international rugby, even though the rest of the bar were watching football and the barman made sure the channel was changed for us. There is a great variety of food on the menu from the snacks to the meals and all are great quality too. My room was large, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities necessary. The bed was extremely comfortable so I had a great sleep. This is the second time I have stayed here and I will happily return.

Very nice overnight stay. The room was lovely and very clean. Staff were all very friendly. Only downside would be that there was a function on and the stairs to the bedrooms aren't blocked off so we could hear everything until the early hours/closing time. The bar is also at the bottom of the stairs so even without a function on it could potentially be quite loud as there is lice music on Saturday's. We could hear this a bit but that finished about 11 I think. Just worth noting if you're a light sleeper or are staying with children. Despite that we both would stay again, hasn't put us off 😊
