Walt Disney World® area

Dreams really do come true for kids and kids-at-heart in this entertainment paradise. Feel the Florida sun on your skin and watch the nightly fireworks dance across the sky.

Embrace your inner princess (or evil villain, we’re not judging) at Walt Disney World® Resort, the self-proclaimed “Happiest Place on Earth.” Here, enthusiasm is worth almost as much as currency (emphasis on almost), childlike wonder is compulsory, and fantasies are transformed into reality.

Take a walk down Main Street at the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World®’s most popular theme park. Buy an iconic Mickey ice cream bar, pose for a selfie or two outside Cinderella’s Castle, and throw your Goofy mask in the air like you just don’t care. Older children and adults can soar through the stars on Space Mountain or ride a runaway mine train at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, while the little ones can fly with Dumbo.

Get up close to some of the world’s most treasured animals (they’re real, we promise) on the Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom, or take a quick trip around the world while strolling the country-themed lands of Epcot. Meanwhile, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can visit your favorite Pixar characters at Toy Story Mania or strap yourself into a creaky elevator on the Tower of Terror.

When your stomach starts to rumble, you’ll find you are spoiled for choice on where to fill up. There’s everything from family-friendly buffets to upscale steakhouses, so squeeze in a meal at one of the theme park’s many quick-service options, before racing off for your next adventure.

Need a rest from the rides? Walt Disney World® is also a world-class shopping and entertainment destination, thanks to the boutique shops and activities at Disney Springs. Find traditional souvenirs at the largest Disney character store in the world, or stop by one of the non-Disney retailers to pick out a new handbag. Visit during the holiday season to meet Santa Claus and listen to carols sung by local choirs.
